I’d be really sad to see Palmer go. I find him a really fun player to watch - yes he’d lose possession when trying to create at times but he could also do / see things no one else in the squad could do / see.
plus we’ll always have this.
Ok cool. I was arguing with someone that said if we were still 8th after 10-15 games “he’ll be gone”. I don’t think he will and sounds like you agree with me too
If this form continues for 10 games into the season we’d have almost twice the number of points than at the same stage during our play off season.
I wish people had more loyalty. After all he’s done for us you think he would get 10 games 🤦🏻♂️ (which consists of a win and point away from home...
Rudoni 7 is wild. One of the worst individual performances I’ve seen from a city player in a while.
Agree with most of the rest. MVE only getting a 6 feels a bit harsh though. He won every 1v1 duel and was solid the whole game.
Yeah sorry, comment wasn’t very kind on my part so I apologise. To suggest that we as a club have gone beyond Robins’ tactical capabilities is a mad suggestion though. We’re here precisely because of him and everything he has done.
Great subs by Robins today at the right times. Atmosphere was very early kick off but still enjoyable. Thought we’d won it at the end 😩 good point on the road and onto the next PUSB
I don't know why people think we didn't need a CF? We only had Simms as a proper CF.
If he's injured we are left with a winger playing as the target man / hold up player through the middle. Potentially Wright could move centrally but Simms was the only player that we didn't have a...
Completely agree. Eccles is still one of our most underrated players imo. I thought he had a good game, particularly first half. We miss a certain steeliness / engine when he’s not in there (for instance, Stoke).
