Sky Sports saying 5 clubs would groundshare

Yeah definitely agree, the Ricoh pitch really hinders the way we want to play as it's so difficult to move the ball quickly and accurately which gives the opposition more time to press and close us down, which is exactly what Oxford did last week

Would agree - Meyler in for Bayliss and let him do the pivot/holding role and free Kelly up to be a bit more box to box like he was towards the back end of last season

His bird lives and works in London, think he prefers a move back down south

Oxford were very effective. Experience all the way through their team and bench, and boy did it show. Bullied throughout the entire game. Bakayoko has a decent first half and that was about it. Whole team were poor and didn’t know how to react from Oxford pressing us high all game.

    Crowd on Saturday

My 2nd time at the Ricoh in 5 years (Gillingham in Feb was 1st) and bringing old man +4. Should hopefully be a decent gate, maybe pushing 15k

    Aron Gunnarrson

He had a brilliant first season, then went off the boil a little for the next 2. Not a chance we could afford him, though would def have him back as seems to have developed into a real leader

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Oxford United Match Thread - Saturday 23rd Mar

Shippers link up play with the the others in the front 4 has been pretty decent recently. Has looked good when he comes inside off the flank and allows that fluidity of movement for Bright, Bayliss etc to shift wider when we're around the box. Also his positional sense and fitness seems to be...

Willis (if fit) and Kelly definitely back in for me, for Williams and Shipley. Maybe Bright for Bayliss as well. Would also start Brown over Mason - he looked a lot more solid last night and gave us a bit of aggression to the back line. Think Mason needs a break - teams have been targeting our...

    Hyam

I wonder if he will have to settle for a place on the bench if Davies does well and Willis comes back in. Generally seems to be the man in possession of the shirt who keeps it as far as MR is concerned with his CBs.

    Fleetwood Player Ratings

Pretty sure he lives in MK. Plus if he was stuck there for 4 hours and only arrived at HT, suggests he left plenty of time to get to the ground as MK is only 45-50 mins away. Just one of those things

    Morgan Williams

Agreed, a very assured performance and good debut. Had a great first half - tired as the 2nd half went on as you would expect.

    Flask ban at the Ricoh

It's a quick win. Simple as that

    Bayliss on Doyle / Meyler

What are you on about?! We were undefeated in 5 with Bayliss-Kelly-Bright as a central axis, so Meyler has correctly been on the bench. He’s barely played 90 mins in total for the club. To say he’s failed miserably is a ridiculous statement to make

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Burton Albion Match Thread - Friday 8th Mar

Used to love sticking a quid on Richard Wood, Reda Johnson or Elliott Ward to score first back in the day. Always great value on centre halves who are decent from set pieces (or take pens)
