Why should Simms start ahead of any of the other options?

    Boxing Day

I'm guessing really. But you can go onto their ticket site and get 20 tickets auto allocated next to each other in either Row WW (Normal Seating) or CC (Safe Standing, beginning at AA upto XX). Presume they sell them from row A upwards, that would indicate several hundred, if not a thousand odd...

Yeah would be nice to have an Academy lad break through at some point soon.

    Boxing Day

Nah, we'd gain more seats if they did it right. There is currently about 60 seats for press in this area: Probably should be about 200-250 regular seats in this area. Stick the press in a corner of the balcony.

    Viktor Moving on

There's still this misconception in the media and some people's minds that United are the powerhouse they used to be. Yes they are a big club off the field. But on it they are distinctly average and have been for years. Amorim has said himself they are not a "big team". No player playing at...

    Millwall Player Ratings

Got to disagree here. Occupying a defence (I didn't see that personally) isn't enough to warrant a run of games. Causing uncomfortable moments for defenders and GKs, offering good peel off runs and getting into scoring positions...... is.

    Aggression

Not sure I'd call it aggression. I'd still like to see more of it. Seen more aggression in a under cooked creme brulee, than in most of our players. But once we had the lead, it's more grit and determined actions that saved the points. Having someone give the opponents defence and keeper a...

Some shocking passing 1st half. Sheaf and Thomas big culprits. Much better 2nd half.

    Victor Torp

He makes runs (without the ball) past the striker. Which is really important when you are essentially only playing one upfront. He very nearly scored a brave header the other week by doing just that. And remember his goal at Wembley - it's those type of runs which remind me of Lampard. Like you...

He has Lampard like attributes. I think he will become a regular starter.

Having said that, he isn't in the u21s today. So maybe he will be in the squad.

The Magic of the Cup. Not sure how it could be done, but I've often thought of a overhaul of the draws in the 3rd round. Something like you cannot be drawn against a team in your division. I know that probably isnt fully workable but something along those lines.

    Leeds at home

I'd say we are 50/50 at best to progress against Wednesday. It's highly likely that FL will use the game to see/give some fringe players some time. Poor turnout, shit weather, post xmas blues. It's got the ingredients to be a right shower of shit, that game.

Match Thread Millwall FC - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 7th Dec

He'e been training with the first team for weeks now. But dipping toes in with the u23s. I suspect he'll have another couple of starts for the u23s before seeing him in the first squad.
