I really don't see us getting tanked. Middlesbrough for the most part very much struggled to break us down and unless things seriously go wrong I can't see that changing on Wednesday. It'll be a tough game for both sides.
But for the reasons I've outlined I think we'll struggle to come away...
I don't really berate Robins too much for that either as obviously the quality of our bench is severely lacking.
That being said, whatever way you look at it the lack of substitutions is certainly going to be felt by the players on Wednesday. As you say I also think we looked tired yesterday...
Yeah. Their two midfielders Mowatt and Hackney were slow on the ball and would often play languid passes to either each other or another Middlesbrough player and we'd just not bother closing down .
We looked sacred throughout the entire game.
Agreed. To not have one shot on goal all game is diabolical frankly and hasn't really been touched upon enough.
When factoring in that Middlesbrough are far superior at home, key players are coming back into the side for them and the fact that I suspect fatigue will probably cause us issues at...
I think it was more than he was hesitant about going head to head with Middlesbrough given how lethal they are in attack.
Illogical to infer that he wanted this result when Middlesbrough have only lost three times at home all season.
I think that might cause us issues on Wednesday, especially in the second half.
With players coming back into the fold from injury, Middlesbrough will have a stronger bench in the next game with scope to do a lot more if it's all evens or they're behind.
3 games in the space of 9 days is a...
I think it'll be interesting to see if they do come back into the fold. Carrick's comments suggest they're not ready but undoubtedly he's not going to reveal his cards before the game.
I also felt Mowatt and Hackney slowed things down for you. Which was frustrating from our POV as if we'd...
Well it isn't. His role would've been to support Gyokeres and he failed miserably at doing that.
There was no link whatsoever between the two players all game.
It's pointless playing him in a supporting role if there isn't a midfielder in behind pushing forward to try and create chances. He...
Given their potency at home I can't particularly see us winning. The best we can hope for is it goes to ET and penalties really.
I can see what Robins was trying to do yesterday in terms of sitting back, waiting for them to make a mistake and trying to get them on the break but they nullified...
If O'Hare's agent has even half a brain then it shouldn't take too much convincing for him to sign a contract. In fact, if anything, I wouldn't be shocked if he'll make the first move.
