And the reality is, if we do have a generational talent coming through young, Elite premiership sides are all over youth recruitment, and will have them signed up before they are ever on pro terms with us anyway. They can afford to take several low-risk gambles at youth level

you'd have said the same about Bournemouth a few years ago, and they're still knocking around the Prem several years later. The reality is players would rather the guarentee of PL football now. If they back themselves as a player they'd like to think they could keep them as a PL team.

Eccles deliveries from Corners/set pieces though are an absolute shambles. He floats them in and are zero threat. He was finally taken off them for Da Silva for the final corner, but we need to find a new set piece taker

interested to see how our wage budget compares this year to last. We've got some relatively high earners off the wages (Waghorn,Walker etc), but have now spent large transfer fees on players who inevitably will be on higher wages. Surely we won't still be in the bottom 2/3 wage wise?
