Can't believe what I am reading at times. EMC was a serious player in L1. He's stepping up a division and we are 6 games in. He's also dealing with Wright (one of the best players in the division in the second half of last season) being ahead of him in the position he plays. The longer term...

Just to add some balance. EMC is going to be a very good player for us. No idea why Dovin is being criticized. The biggest mistake today was starting Allen - we were over run with Allen last year against the same oppo - he doesn't have the strength to play that role in the Champ. Same story...

Whatever the question is - Jamie Allen is not the answer in midfield. Should not be a starter. Just doesn't have the physicality for this division.

CVD usually agree with you and appreciate the optimism after the last 48 hours of collective suicide by the usuals. Just don’t see Allen as strong enough in this league - he was pulled at half time vs. Luton from memory as we were completely over run in midfield at the start of that match.

Harsh on Bids Blind Faith - he was brilliant in the 1-1 first half. Wright also showed quality at times but couldn't sustain it into the second half.
