    Israel - Palestinian Conflict

And the excuses will still come as to why we’re supplying Israel with Arms.

Or get the plebs to pay the mortgage on your second home only to sell it and pocket the profit without paying windfall tax on those profits to the tune of £5M like 4 Tory MP’s allegedly have.

Now that is a good question that needs answering and thus far there nothing more from Labour than a few sound bites about freeing up cash to councils to build new social housing. Undoubtedly needed but when you look at the statistics on average the cuts equate to about 25% in real terms since...

Firstly I’m not going to say that they couldn’t have done more to protect the country from the effects of a world banking crisis caused by the toxic mortgage industry in America because they certainly could have. For instance under Blair they relaxed controls on bankers which made the UK banking...

It was an economic decision. The choices were get the people that crashed the world’s banking system to pay for it or get the plebs to pick up the cost with austerity.

I don’t think it even needs us all to pay more, it just needs those earning the most to pay their fair share by closing tax loopholes. Let’s get everyone paying the tax due to the latter of the law rather than letting those with enough wealth deciding for themselves what’s within the “spirit” of...

Some of that thought is due to our GDP struggling to recover to pre pandemic levels. IIRC it was only at the end of 2023 our GDP finally recovered to pre pandemic levels. We’re still down on 2010 as a percentage and the fact is we need to be spending more to recover from austerity.

Also when has voting ever been anything other than voting for the least stinkiest shit. Shouldn’t be like that but that is the reality.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I mean I’ve just rattled four things off the top of my head, three of which are very distinctively left wing socialist policies. You might not think that the whole package is left wing or socialist enough and you might despise Starmer but what’s the alternative? Not vote risking enabling a Tory...

I don’t know about day one but I know they’ve pledged to repeal the laws that the tories bought in to try and prevent workers having the ability to strike in the first 100 days. Things like the minimum service bill. This is important for all workers because unlike other countries the right to...

    USSR invades Ukraine.

From what I’ve read it’s being seen as an attempt to hinder opposition parties ahead of upcoming elections in line with changes Putin made to hold onto power in 2011. I think the majority of the population want to join the EU and this is being received as an attempt to stop that.

    USSR invades Ukraine.

He only won 28% of the vote. Slovakia is pretty polarised anyway and just because he won a majority doesn’t mean he’s still popular. Look at Argentina. They only voted their populist into power last December in a landslide and now they want him out with almost constant protesting around the country.

    USSR invades Ukraine.

Possibly too early to tell but he’s definitely pro Russian. I read an article a month or two back where he’d pledged to not send one more penny to Ukraine only for the general public to raise $1M dollars from donations for Ukraine to buy ammunition. Been kicking off in Georgia too this week...

Made this point a few times but the first anti-Zionist were Jews and they still exist. They see the creation of the Israeli state as a direct threat to god. These Jews still exist and live in Israel, they’re the Jewish sects that don’t have to do national service, they were the Hasidic Jews...

Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already

Hard to say. The difference is I guess Trump has a loyalty base based on empty rhetoric, the people who are going to vote for him are going to vote for him. The votes Biden needs are from voters capable of independent thinking based on the evidence of their own eyes rather than just toe the...

Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already

I don’t think it’s a case of him gaining votes Otis. From what I’ve read Biden is losing votes with the younger generation over Israel/Gaza. No indication that the votes are going to Trump, just Biden is losing young voters.

    Lucy Letby

I can’t imagine any doctor of merit would dismiss an air embolism as something that would just make a baby “throw up”. A friend of mine had one after a diving accident meaning he had to go in a decompression chamber. Don’t recall if he got the embolism from the incident itself or the...

    Eurovision Song Contest

Well when I’ve got to the stage where I’m either starting burner accounts so I have someone to agree with me or have groomed an idiot to agree with me sending them off to do little tasks for me so I feel big about myself I’ll have hit rock bottom like you. You can buy as many season tickets as...

    Eurovision Song Contest

Yeah. I was in the pub celebrating when I got an email saying I’d been tagged in a post. You drowned your sorrows by trying to wind people up so you could feel better about yourself. We all know that you’re only happy when things aren’t going well, you disappear from threads when things are...
