One of them games I wish I was watching as a neutral 😬

Great so far but keep letting ourselves down with really basic defensive errors ‘emphasised by that header from Kitchen a moment ago.

We will need to score 4 to win this game.

We will only really know if that’s true after half a season or so, all/any of the teams we’ve played could be in the top 6 at that point

The problem in midfield 2nd half v Norwich wasn’t lack of bodies, it was lack of trust & understanding in the shape we were playing.

You didn’t say “Watford spy here in peace” so for that reason only 🤔 I don’t believe you!!

Still takes up good positions & makes himself available, but definitely reluctant to take his man on in the way he did last season, IMHO he’s still recovering mentally from the very serious injury he sustained, think we need to be patient with him because the only way he’ll rediscover his...

    Real ITK

You can only wonder at the type of mind ‘that is able to draw on such drivel at will. Impressive 🙄

    Concerns over the club's direction......

But with relevant success ‘comes increased popularity and therefore accountability’ compared to the lean years under SISU we now have about 18,000 extra regular customers, the combined murmurs of disapproval are bound to be louder.

    Concerns over the club's direction......

The fact that he left the club with hardly a murmur from anyone (inc himself) suggests that this was probably the case.

    Spion Kop

Ernest Edwards, a reporter for the Liverpool Echo reported on the opening of the Walton Breck Rd terrace at Anfield in 1906 comparing it to the battle of Spion Kop where the Lancashire Regiment were heavily involved in the battle with many Liverpool lads perishing. Local's quickly took the name...

    Spion Kop

The first recorded reference to Spion Kop in relation to football was in 1904, by a local sports writer who likened the banked earth behind the goal & full of men at Woolwich Arsenal’s Manor Ground to the battle of Spion Kop ‘a hill in South Africa.

    They've Got Off Spot-Free AGAIN

I was actually at this game mate as a 7y/o, one of my first & best memories supporting Cov, me & my brother 10 being dragged up Thacknal St through the crowds toward our seats in the upper West stand. Amazing memories and what an incredible atmosphere. People constantly talk about the game...

    They've Got Off Spot-Free AGAIN

Yeah I get that ‘but any winner at Highfield Rd means they stay up whatever they do at Everton. Always thought their beef was down to Cov & Bristol City “allegedly“ deliberately playing out a draw 🤔 the only result that relegates them if they lose.

    They've Got Off Spot-Free AGAIN

Not that I think there’s anything in this Jimmy Hill cheated crap. But even though Sunderland lost at Everton, had there been a winner at Highfield Rd ‘they’d have stayed up.
