Look. We’re in transition.. and despite that, we’re not losing. We have the break to work on things and come back stronger. We all looked at the first 5 games and thought it looked like a tough start. We’ve lost once, there’s zero need for panic.
It’s a bit ignorant to expect instant success. I think anyone (with an objective bone in their fuckingbody) can see that we’re a work in progress.. new players and new possession based style. There were a lot of positives today, just a lack of clear cut chances.. and the ones we had, were saved...
We’ve played well and created chances, it’s just been frustrating that we haven’t been more clinical. Sunderland are way better than Middlesbrough were. Clean sheet.. a win and a draw at home now.. and only 1 loss away against the league favorites.

Palmer is a standout, everything positive is going through him. Eccles is playing well too but is too casual at times. He and Godden need to stop looking for free kicks with anything that isn’t obvious as Stroud isn’t going to give them. Wingbacks are giving us good width and pace.
