    Bassette Shithouse Appreciation

His all round play was good. I’d like to see him in a front three with Wright left side and Saka right. The shit housing is ok. Teams do it to us.

If Rhys Carr was Announced as manager

He won’t. Haven’t seen any difference from what we were doing before. It’s a difficult job when you’ve got to score 3 to win. Our defence is an absolute issue.

Match Thread Coventry City - Sheffield United Match Thread - Saturday 23rd Nov

Basically what we’ve been like for a while. Some decent possession, a couple of decent goals but absolutely clueless at the back. Not enough craft and rescued by a sending off. Simms needs to go - something is very wrong there. Thought Rudoni was excellent

    CCFC announcement today

Quite. Unfortunately smart bloke + good player + point to prove does not = good manager.

    Frank Lampard Rumours

You’ve got to remember a lot of fans such as those now knocking Robins will always knock whoever takes over. It’s to ensure that eventually they will always be able to say they were right as no-one stays forever. The fact of the matter is Robins was hugely successful for the club in the round...

    Frank Lampard Rumours

Ha! No, just checking the odds and it looks like it’s heading that way (I know it doesn’t take much to shift them).

Right who's the next manager then?

Can’t be arsed. I think he has, you don’t. That’s about it isn’t it?

Will Doug King lose any integrity he has left?

    Is he available in midfield

    Frank Lampard Rumours

King has done what I think most of us thought he would do and been reeled in by a high profile media name. Lampard will be picked apart by savvy championship operators. Having said that he’ll be our manager so if he gets it I’ll back him all the way.

Right who's the next manager then?

You have to look at what sort of manager we need. It’s not really a complete shoestring exercise now. Neither is it embarrassment of riches stuff. We need someone with a track record in the division and who can make good players better. We’ve got to get away from being seduced by big names.

Right who's the next manager then?

    No, he hasn’t.

Right who's the next manager then?

Well that’s your opinion. Answer me this: if rvn had been a L2 journeyman striker with the exact managerial experience he currently has would you be encouraging his appointment? The answer is no. So we’re taking a punt on a name.

    Director of Football

Lots of talk about what will be the head coach role. Less about the seemingly likely DoF role. Just as important. Any noise on the runners and riders for this?

Right who's the next manager then?

His back story is far more suggesting of being capable. Rvn is being suggested because he scored lots of goals for Man Utd. Don’t get me wrong, ill naturally back whoever comes in.

Was our success due to Robins or was it actually Vivash?

I tend to agree listening to his more recent communications. Sounds like it will be two people anyway with a head coach and a DoF. Inevitably the coach especially will want his own team of coaches etc which will cost. So yes, a significant investment.

Right who's the next manager then?

“Spell” is quite generous for the period of time it covered.
