    5th Round

For purely financial reasons, Manchester United at home with the hope we can then take them to a replay. Furthermore, any possible deadline day signings might then want to join us in the hope of playing against United.

Match Thread Coventry City at MK Dons Match Thread - Saturday 27th Jan

Idiots! Yes people get passionate, but are they so incapable of controlling their behaviour? I also heard that flares were set off and thrown on to the pitch?

    Who’s more loyal ...

An online dictionary defines loyalty as 'faithful adherence to a sovereign, government, leader, cause, etc.' For me, the key word is 'faithful'. To have faith in one you are purportedly loyal to, implies trust and belief in their aims and objectives. Therefore, one can argue that those who...

£5 tickets for Accrington - Community Day

Further credit is due as if you paid full price for a ticket before this announcement, the club will honour a refund of the difference. Sadly, although this is a great initiative shown, I think people will still find excuses not to go, and they will do well to get over 15k...therefore harming...

    Goalkeeping over the years

With Hedman as number 1, we finished in 11th, 15th and 14th in the Premiership. In the season we were relegated from the Premiership, Chris Kirkland played 23 games. Year after year, the goalkeeping gets worse and questions need to be raised about the effectiveness of the coaching. Burge has...

One of my favourite festive games

Boxing Day 1999, Coventry City 3 Arsenal 2. Not only the best festive game I've ever seen, but the best game I've ever been to. The quality of (certainly) 2 of our goals...I've said it before and I'll say it again, I still cannot understand how on earth Robbie Keane managed to score that third goal.

    Biamou

But Beavon can't score and hasn't even been playing, why can't he make way too? He is also quite possibly on more money than Biamou. Given the choice out of Biamou and Beavon, if I were a club looking to take on a striker, I know which one I would rather go for.

    Late winners

This won't have been the last time, but I remember being 2-0 down against Middlesbrough at the Ricoh, maybe 8 years ago, and scoring twice in the last 8 minutes...Jutkiewicz got one I believe to salvage a draw. I've never celebrated a point so much in my life! On the other hand, I remember in...

Last years top scorer compared to now

I'm probably reading it completely wrong so please do forgive me if that is the case, but I get read it as at this time last year (according to those figures from Transfermarkt) George Thomas was not getting in the League match day squad until December 10th...was he injured?

    Luton Forum

If it's out by the M6 then if our fans were angry about the move to Northampton, their fans will be fuming at having to traipse at least 60 miles. :-) I was under the impression that Power Court would be built on what was a former light industrial estate, in the town centre. Opposite the...

    Dale Evans .......

I do agree. My only concern is, would many of the stayaways move the goalposts though. Instead of the "I'll come back when SISU have gone' philosophy, turn in to 'I'll come back once this consortium has shown it is investing x million'. Will it be like the Gillingham homecoming: everybody shows...

    Dale Evans .......

I always wonder if the gentleman on the right ever visits this forum. He is always the one that any TV cameras pick out. I remember MOTD cameras picking him out on that fateful day at Villa Park in 2001
