    It’s a performance management issue. If someone is underperforming then crack down on it/them, but if they’re still fulfilling their duties I don’t really see the issue.

    I think the key takeaway for the main parties is that one needs to come out promoting the positives of immigration and that the lack of investment in public infrastructure is down to previous governments, not immigrants.

    Because I think that’s fundamentally what he believes in. You could tell with his speech on Farage’s comments about him “not understanding the culture” or whatever it was. I think he’s been dragged to a place he didn’t really feel comfortable by the party dynamics.

    Much like the Brexit vote, I think you’re seeing Reform do well generally in places that have been left behind economically. Stating the obvious, but we need to focus investment in these places and get away from London’s 45th upgrade this century.
