    Mowbray Interview

I don't think being captain gives you a right to a place in the starting XI. Rest him for a game or 2, give the armband to someone else and bring Lorentzson in.

    How do you bet?

I once bet on us to lose 2-1 (correct score) away at QPR in Jan 2011 at the bookies in the ground. Sure enough we lost 2-1 and I was the only bloke queuing up to collect winnings, the guy thought I was absolutely crazy to be betting against my own team. Still, £50 says I’m not crazy.

    Worst CCFC Team - Strikers

Or Jordan Clarke? Came on up top at HT vs Orient away couple of years back - thought he actually did ok...!

    Worst CCFC Team - Strikers

Kevin Kyle surely has to be one of the two! Shaun Jeffers was shit as well.

    RCC injury problem

To be fair in the article, TM’s logic makes sense. We use Addai on the bench – he fills in for the rest of the game if RCC is sent off/injured, and we can then act fast to bring in (ideally) a free transfer as there a couple of unattached players knocking about, or an emergency loan. Worst case...

    Questions For Tony

What did he have to say about contracts, Reda, Joe Cole etc - as you mentioned in your previous post? If you can remember :)

    Questions For Tony

Can anyone shed any light on what was actually said and TM's reponses at the evening itself, rather than this boring chat about if Murphy tries or not?

    Questions For Tony

With many contracts expiring at the end of the season have discussions been held with certain players to keep them on for next season and beyond, regardless of which league we are in? Thinking Martin, Fleck, Ricketts, Stokes etc.

    Worst Team - Central Midfield

He's clearly a talented footballer, but never seemed to get to grips with our style of play, particularly under Pressley. When he had time on the ball his passing range was quite good. Trouble is, you don't get much of that in League 1 and he was never a gritty, ball-winning sort of player. Too...

    Aaron Martin

Martin was excellent first half of the season, but injuries change things unfortunately. Agree with Otis, he'll have to wait for an injury or loss of form to Cargill/Stephens - some continuity at the back would be welcome right now.

Bit odd - thought he rejected a deal in the summer?

Lock this one Nick, just seen the other thread.

Signed a deal till the end of the season and will play with the U21s. Bit odd - I thought he rejected a contract in the summer?

    Marcus Tudgay

You can tell when he plays he is a very clever footballer, knows his limitations and plays to his strengths well. Holds the ball up well, rarely concedes possession and good in the air for someone below 6'0". Would also have him in the squad over Fortune. Model pro and a good asset to this team.

Just checked and Gareth Gates is only 31, feels like he's been around for ever! A bit like Aaron Lennon, who unbelievably is only 28.

He came 3rd behind Gareth Gates and Will Young if I remember correctly. His no.1 Colourblind was a tune.
