    Doug on CWR

One of the most important signings for next season needs to be a decent replacement for Dennis Lawrence as well.

    Doug on CWR

Because I've heard it from a couple of sources. One of which I'm sure was one of his interviews...can't remember which one to be fair.

    Doug on CWR

I don't the exact details but I'm pretty sure he's spent some of his own money. If the Hamer fee was going on running costs etc, then what has the ST money, merch sales, sponsorship, TV revenue etc been spent on. I'm fairly confident that we'll have money to spend this summer, even if Vik...

Match Thread Coventry City - Hull City Match Thread - Wednesday 24th Apr

To be fair, that was his first league game for what, a couple of months? He's not going to be automatic first choice but when we're crying out for depth, I'd definitely keep Allen next season.

    Doug on CWR

I'm not listening but I know he's invested in some of the off field stuff like the training ground. And if we're making money from transfers, let's use that. We're trying to be self-sustaining after all. We need the balance don't we - investment into the playing squad (ideally solely through...

    Ellis Simms

We're so lucky that we've got two great attacking players capable of 20 goals a season. For years we've been crying out for just one. We then had Gyo and after losing him, we now have two. It really is such an important aspect of our season next season, Simms and Wright firing on all cylinders...

    Callum O'Hare

Equally, we've lost 3 out of the last 4 games that O'Hare has started.

    Callum O'Hare

We've replaced 50 goals/assists from Gyo/Gus to be fair. We'll be ok if he goes.

    EFL League 1 & 2

I was happy with the Doncaster result last night. It gives Sutton United a fighting chance at the weekend. Just need a win from them away to MK Dons, Colchester to lose at home to Crewe and a 5 goal swing in favour of Sutton. Unlikely but last night gives Sutton a slim chance now.

More from the freak show that is United post semi-final

What a plank. And what is he on about? He's a grown man FFS.

Interesting take on the reality of the promised land

If we went up next season (or even this!), I'd like to think that MR, his team and the scouting dept would stick to the same principles on signing players who are not only technically decent but are also like you say, nice people. I'd be pretty certain that we've probably not considered players...

    Peter Bankes needs investigating

I guess whatever the losing finalist gets? £1m. If we've lost money as a 'conspiracy', we should complain. But as we've lost to potential ineptitude, there's nothing we can do. Look, 99% of fans think we've been robbed. It is what it is - nothings going to charge. They might release the...

Cor...that sounds perfect. Totally agree - let the 'big 6' go.

You instantly lose a bit of credit by using the word Woke. VAR is a pile of sh!te mind but it's done - nothing will change. We look great, albeit losing semi-finalists, Utd look like losers & idiots and PGMOL look even more incompetent than they did before.

And 8% was Boosh and Greggs alternative accounts.

    Next Season

Gus and Vik didn't. If he gets a decent offer which will at least double his wages, I think he'll be off. Shame really as I think he's the most key player we need to keep.

    Wolves And Man U

I think he knows. I'm quite excited about this summer. Just hope we keep Sheaf. If not, I'm sure we'll get a tidy sum for him.

We have destroyed Man Utd's reputation

Oh yes, totally agree that the output of yesterday for us is 100% positive. I just don't think it's going to turn the tide of investment into the club.

We have destroyed Man Utd's reputation

I don't think we destroyed Man Utds reputation. They've been doing that for the last 10-15 years themselves. It's been quite nice to watch actually. What it did do was enhance our own reputation on a bigger scale than we've had before (other than 87 obvs). That said, I disagree that yesterday...

    We NEED to appeal that.

I'd say there's no point in complaining as nothing will be done about it. They're certainly not going to replay the match or award us the match or anything. That said, the system is obviously shite. I've just seen the Nottingham Forest decisions from yesterday and the statement they've...
