    Brad Collins

Have stuck up for Collins recently but today he was absolutely awful for this level of football. He won’t play on Boxing Day . The defence as a whole were poor though. When he did parry that one out, no defenders were covering, just stood and watched.

    Plymouth Boxing Day

The atmosphere is almost always loads better when we achieve an unexpected result/ performance against a club with a stack of fans in the away end. The ground will be populated by irregulars to some extent, a smaller away contingent and a fatal expectation that we will bulldoze these...

Ticket prices v Plymouth boxing day

£37 for adults plus kids prices. I noticed that their official coaches are called ‘ Miles away travel’ ( You’re not kidding) . They want £53 for the bus up. It makes for a few quid if a chap wants to bring a couple of kids. Probably around £200. Plus F&B . Argyle are struggling and it’s Boxing...

    Hull away support

Can’t have been very lifting for their players when they started singing ‘ How shit must you be, we’re winning away’🤔

    Grow Up

Not sure I really need to see it. Strange behaviour and sense of humour from someone . It’s a shame we couldn’t get some money for Callum but we got him for nowt. Not sure it merits all the hatred…..

    Parking

Yes , those same morons who have one of the best transport infrastructures in the world to cart them around London.

    Cov Rugby 2024 - 2025

Well you were bang on. I think Cov were missing a few players and the Cornish gained a few. Hardly huge support though at 1555 for ‘ Cornwalls premium Sports team’ as they like to market themselves. Is someone bankrolling them ?

    Ephron Mason-Clark

EMC improving thankfully but nowhere near Haji when he’s fit.

    The new signings so far

Delighted with a win. We had to beat negative Hull and a proper twerp of a Ref. It wasn’t always pretty and we made hard work of it but we were always the better team 👍

    The good old days.....

The love and passion is dwindling away. It used to govern my calendar, still does a little but it’s wearing thin. 7.30am alarm tomorrow to get a bus into CV1 ….wankers !

    The new signings so far

If you believe the media, Bassette is the only one who has attracted some interest from higher up the football pyramid. That makes him the only one thus far who fits with the Chairmans folly of buying to sell on at a profit.

Match Thread Coventry City - Hull City Match Thread - Saturday 14th Dec

He’s a professional footballer on a very good salary. He needs to get a grip. Being so young doesn’t seem to interfere with Bassettes confidence. This is a critical period of home games, we can’t afford the strikers to be too timid .

    Cov Rugby 2024 - 2025

Why is it highly likely ? Surely we have a fighting chance. I’ve not been to the BPA with over 4000 inside. How do the bars cope ? Although I guess we shall have a few pre match watching the city on TV. In the pub.

    Damascus falls

Its good to see Syrian women being able to celebrate the new situation within their country without the obligation to cover themselves up. I hope they can all move forward now to create a decent homeland for all people and the Islamic hard liners don’t ruin it as per Afghanistan.

    World Cup 2034

Another nail in the coffin of football as we knew it. I read a report in the Telegraph ( not my paper of choice) online and it described the way that it was bulldozed into the calendar. The Arabs and their oil money have gone a long way to manipulate and destroy the game as a fair contest and...

Match Thread Coventry City - Hull City Match Thread - Saturday 14th Dec

It will just be a case of shuffling the same pack. Whatever the line up, you would hope we can beat a club in crisis like Hull. It really is important for us to win these next three home games and at least give us some buffer away from the bottom 3.

    Musings of a fan

Just maybe, what we are not getting that enthused about is not just the apparent demise of our performances but football as a whole. Starting with stupid atmosphere killing early kick offs, atrocious refereeing, expensive ticket prices, ridiculous prices for F&B around the Arena, no physicality...

Match Thread West Bromwich Albion - Coventry City Match Thread - Wednesday 11th Dec

It’s like watching a 5 a side team. Lots of intricate passing, backwards and forwards, sideways and backwards again. All in areas that are not hurting teams. We play all our best stuff in the middle third of the pitch. When we do create chances, they are not quite falling right or falling to the...

Match Thread West Bromwich Albion - Coventry City Match Thread - Wednesday 11th Dec

No steel, no aggression, no nastiness, no real drive. No wonder Kitching can’t get a look in, he’s probably too fucking prone to intimidating the opposition or being a bit competitive.

Match Thread West Bromwich Albion - Coventry City Match Thread - Wednesday 11th Dec

It just got worse, what a load of toothless wankers. Utter weak, gutless nonsense. Without Haji we are pretty pathetic upfront.
