Match Thread West Bromwich Albion - Coventry City Match Thread - Wednesday 11th Dec

Lati, Binks…..both fucking useless against any quality. The defence is shite. No punch up front without Haji. All our best football is played in the midfield hurting no one !

    Cov Rugby 2024 - 2025

Not many seats left at all for Ealing. Surely this is going to be a 4000 crowd ?! Although I doubt there will be many followers from London, they don’t get that many at home games.

    Boxing Day

Never had any love for Liverpool. The only people I have generally met from that area have been a load of self loving big heads. Whatever you’ve done….they’ve done it bigger and better 🙄

    Boxing Day

Looks like a 30,000 type crowd. Something just 6 years ago we could only dream about. My first ever City game in 1977 was a League cup replay v Liverpool and there were around 36,000 there. I thought it was always going to be like that 🤷‍♂️😀

    Liam Kitching

As a club, we cannot afford to completely freeze him out. At some point we will need to try and recoup some of our outlay on him and we won’t do that putting him in a one man bomb squad.

    Cov Rugby 2024 - 2025

Looking forward to the Ealing match, we forward bought tickets for this a few weeks back. Hoping to catch the City match on TV in one of Spon Ends finest establishments before the Rugby.

    The goalkeepers

Stick with Collins for me. He’s not perfect but still commands his area better than a timid Dovin. Looks a bigger and stronger presence even if he doesn’t always get down quick enough. At this level you can’t be shy.

Match Thread West Bromwich Albion - Coventry City Match Thread - Wednesday 11th Dec

They will surely be a lot better than Millwall, who were very shaky at the back. Loads to work on for City, Thomas still gives the ball away at will , Sheaf was well off it yesterday , Simms plays a bit part and if EMC hadn’t taken that second chance he would have got pelters for his first...

Just hoping my fence panels can deal with the combination of very wet for hours now and 50 mph gusts 🤔 It’s a lot worse in the South West though. London should be fine I imagine.

Ticket prices v Plymouth boxing day

I wonder what sort of credit card debt people have these days. Plastic makes it so easy for to folk to get into trouble and just buy what they want irrespective of value. I doubt they would be rushing to part with so much if they had to actually hand over some of those notes from those little...

    Gregg Wallace

I doubt he’s actually dangerous, just an anachronistic old plonker who should have been put out to grass a few years ago . I don’t also doubt there will be a level of attention seeking over reaction from some.

    Dhillons Free Beer

Much prefer Byatts beers. The Regency Blonde they had on draught at the Flying Standard on Saturday was delicious and at 5.2 % you knew you’d had a few 😋

Ticket prices v Plymouth boxing day

The issue is exacerbated by the fact that the match tickets are only part of the true cost of attending which generally rises with all the other ancillary costs.
