    vs Swindon Town Player Ratings

Broadly agree. Maybe a smidgeon generous, though it’s more likely my own harsher rating that's the main difference. RCC 7 Phillips 5 Ricketts 7 Martin 7 Stokes 6 Fleck 7 Vincelot 6 Kent 5 Cole 6 O’Brien 7 Armstrong 6 Murphy 7 Lameiras 7 Tudgay 6

    Reda replacement

I actually thought Wood was solid at this level. Left footed centre half, good in the air, goal threat...seems like the ideal replacement to me.

    Magnus Hedman - your memories

I remember a home game (no idea when or who against, I was v young at the time) where my only memory is the crowd turning on Strachan for not taking Hedman off when he was quite clearly injured and struggling to play on. Paul Williams had to take the goal kicks. That is all.

Agree with the above post, the short paras do make for difficult reading. I think it has the basis of being a solid report. It covers all the key detail, it's accurate - in short, it gives you everything you need. Is is meant to be an opinion piece or...? Constructive criticism I would give is...

    Webster

TM said he would have to be shrewd with the budget, perhaps spend a little less on players in less 'key areas' such as left/right back in order to fund a good striker for example. I reckon it's clever business - Stokes knows the players, setup etc so doesn't have that bedding in period as he's...

Agree - cult hero's in sport essentially mean a well-liked player who isn't particularly fantastic at their day job, but because they endear themselves to fans their ability is masked to an extent. So yes, Greg Downes, Mo Konjic, Reda Johnson to name a few (outside football, think someone like...

    Favorite EVER CCFC Player

Scott Dann is a better defender than Williams or Shaw ever were.

Cranie and Bailey released from Barnsley

Cranie would complement Reda fantastically. Would love to have him back

    Tudgay yesterday

Yeah have to say he impressed me yesterday but was dog shit at the start of the season. Wouldn't be the end of the world if he got another year I think he'd add something up top as a foil, as has been mentioned by others. Held the ball and brought others in very well yesterday - really looked...

    10 years on

Sorry - but this is just about the saddest thing I've read all year. Get a job, son.

    10 Match Yardstick

Totally agreed. Take nothing away from TM - he has done his job albeit bar a freak turn of events tomorrow and next week - but the fact remains that we need to be challenging for the playoffs at least next season. The form that TM has extracted from the current crop (with the solitary addition...

    Reda johnson baby!

Who would you retain in this current squad?

I'd defo keep Reda. He's what we've been missing for years, a bit of nastiness, bite, aggression. We've been a powderpuff side since Boothroyd. Obviously needs to play more games but he's such a talisman when he's on the pitch #RedaJohnsonBaby

    ***Relegation Thread***

At league 1 level, Richard Wood is a very good centre half - would love to have him back. Never got offered a new deal did he, was down to high wages I believe (isn't it always!)
