    Anti-SISU

Good point. This isn’t exclusive to us, I notice the green and gold, Glazers out shouts in Salford have gone quiet now Man Utd have re-signed Ronaldo and are top of the table. The best way to silence criticism of the ownership or management is success.

    Anti-SISU

Like a lot of posters have mentioned, I don’t think NOPM exists as a movement anymore and it often felt like an excuse by those that didn’t attend games anyway. I think a lot of fans (myself included) have had enough of shouting/protesting/erupting with fury about the ownership of the club...

Why is our passing so poor in the final third?

We missed Dabo today IMO. He’s one of our better players for consistently delivering in the final third. Kane looked reliable defensively today but utterly hopeless going forward. The difference in quality between Dabo and Kane is staggering but hopefully Kane will do a job as a back up.

    Ricoh return membership shirt

People should wear whatever they’re happy with! I don’t really wear football shirts and I haven’t worn one to a game since I was about 15 but that doesn’t mean I would lecture or tell anyone else what to wear. I do love getting the two tone top out on special occasions - if you’ll pardon the...

    Ricoh return membership shirt

Has anyone else’s membership shirt come with the Club crest at an angle/wonky? Not sure if it’s me being fussy or that is intentional?

    Millwall

I don’t know what your debate with Hill is about or the chant in question so I can’t elaborate but as a general rule of thumb I think sometimes fans read into things too much. Mane and Salah were booed at Elland Road from the start on Sunday and some Liverpool fans took that as meaning they...

is that the new name for Impulse? 😂 That would be a sight to see!

    Joy Seppala at Warwick University

That does ring a bell, though I can’t recall what game or the circumstance. I know he did go to the Wallace a couple of times after games when it had all the City shirts and merchandise up. No incident there though of note. Fisher was seen as a villainous character who only appeared when it...

Would a premier league team come in for Robins?

Mark Robins? Who’s that? Our current manager is Russel Slade, he’s the one that has turned the ship around and done wonders with a small budget…. No idea who this Robins bloke is!

That’s not fair, if you post something incorrect you have to take the grief like myself and apologise 😂 Editing or deleting the post is cheating!

    Millwall

No wind up or parody intended. I thought WBA vs Wolves was something that developed after Villa’s focus moved on to Birmingham and always seen that area as part of Brum. I am happy to stand corrected!

I’ll cancel my week’s all inclusive trip on that advice! Yonks ago I went to the Living Black Country Museum and really enjoyed that. I think they ended filming up parts of Peaky Blinders there too.

    Millwall

The ground is in Handsworth which is in Birmingham. Fair enough if the surrounding areas are classed as Black Country.

    Millwall

Not to split hairs but West Brom is in Birmingham and about 4 miles from the Villa ground, the narrative of it being in the Black Country is from SkySports.

With the team performing so well, looks like the usual moaning has turned to the SBT in the short term. We are 3 home league games into the new season. There’s some small changes that can and will be made in the upcoming months, that’s just part of launching a new business. You always know...

    THIS Gyokeres...

ah hopefully not, Juke was a hard worker but a poor finisher IMO. A 9 goal a season striker.

    After the game

I’m not one to post on social media but the other Earlsdon has seen it for those doubting…but after keeping us up last season, I sent Robins a tenner and a note saying thanks I would get you apint if I could, but thank you for everything you have done to make us a team to be proud of again. He...
