    JSB Packages

Is it me or is there no mention of reduced match day prices? STs don't work for us as we live so far away but for Cat C matches last year my kids got in for £10/£5.

Bollocks to that when you've got a 14 and 12 yo, they are going to the same event whether they like it or not.

    The Club Shop

An official Hummel remake of the original 87-89 kits (home and away) sold as retro shirts would surely sell like hot cakes. If only because I've been trying to track the away one down for several years!

    O'Hare

According to Google recovery is 9-12 months usually for an ACL suffered by a professional footballer so if he had his op early Jan we're looking at any time between early Oct and early Jan.

Enjoyed reading this thread a lot. Thinking some more about my favourite players of all-time, there were my boyhood heroes - Gibson, Oggy, Regis, Speedie, Gallacher and Ndlovu. Into my 20s I loved Whelan and Dublin. Other than the possible exception of Big Mo, all of the players since then...

Which irritates me. We might have lost on Saturday but at least we looked like Coventry City!

    2023-24 New Kit Thread

Worst kit we've ever had (other than that 16/17 monstrosity obviously) as far as I'm concerned, hate that our finest day was played out in that. If we'd have kept the Umbro kit for one more season that would have looked superb at Wembley. I hope we never wear blue and white stripes again...

And to think I was actually nervous watching that at the time, like it was in any way important. :ROFLMAO:

    Attendances next season

I'm not saying prices should go up. I am saying that for your fictitious game v Stoke below, if the crowd was 15k at £35 it would be near as damn the same at £33.

    Attendances next season

That applies to all of our fixtures, not their pricing categorisation. The Sunderland and Norwich games were on TV at lunchtime which would have had some impact on the crowds. I'm not suggesting prices should be increased btw. I just don't think it would impact on somebody's decision to...

"...and would encourage local, national and international companies who are interested in working with us to get in touch!" Sounds a bit desperate, especially with the ! at the end.

Best and worst Sky Blue moments

Best by far was the 60 seconds or so after Gus' goal on Saturday. That moment shared with my daughters - never felt so happy and filled with joy in my entire life, at football or otherwise. Worst - Dabo's penalty. Followed the club for 40 years, travel thousands and thousands of miles per...

    Attendances next season

I'm not sure £35 would make much difference to somebody's decision to attend personally. If somebody paid £33 they will pay £35 in most cases, and vis-versa. Some of our biggest attended games last season were category A weren't they?

    First idols

With all the talk of the inevitable departures of Gus and Vik it got me thinking back to my childhood and my first hero. I remember crying my eyes out, aged 9, when Terry Gibson joined Manchester United in 1986. Felt similar devastation when Speedie, Gallacher and Dublin left in later years...

    City fans in South Devon?

FB is a good starting point. A Dorset Supporters group was set up this way a few years back, it has 120 plus members now. They arrange meet ups in pubs to watch matches that are on Sky etc.

    City fans in South Devon?

I’m just over the border in Dorset. I run Weymouth parkrun in my City shirt every week (not this Saturday as I’ve got something on). Met 3 other city fans this weekend at parkrun, all are going to Wembley. We’re everywhere.

    Final Tickets Thread. Yessss

Cheers mate. The train sounds a bit of an expedition, and after a few Thatcher's possibly with me ending up at West Ham's ground or something so the 483 sounds good, cheers!
