Quest EFL goal of the season.

First and fourth goals get replays in those clips. Tbh the Walsh goal is brilliant but isn’t even our goal of the season. That should be Jamie Allen’s first at Bristol Rovers (providing the footage starts with the ball with the goalkeeper so you can see the sheer number of passes and players...

Best Performance by an Opposition Player

End of thread. Went to this game to see the first Brazilian in English football (Mirandinah) and was completely dumbstruck by how some young kid I've never heard of destroyed us. To be sure I've never seen anyone orchestrate a game like he did on that occasion. To this day my dad thinks he is...

    Massive Thank you

Done. Very pleased to report that I successfully dragged my carcass around Liverpool and raised over £5k for Brain Tumour Research in a respectable time. Thanks so much for all of your support - from Nick who publicised the first tweet and all those of you who responded to this thread. Robbie...

    New song....

    1) Man Citeh replay in FA Cup 1995. Losing 2-0. The city fans endlessly singing “Cos after all/ You’re my Alan Ball” we would occasionally retort with “after all/ you’re gonna win fuck all”. Anyway at that moment I was inspired by the Oasis/Blur rivalry to hit back at the Rusholme Ruffians...

    Massive Thank you

On Saturday morning I sent out a tweet linked to my justgiving page - I’m running the Liverpool half marathon in March and raising money for Brain Tumour Research after my eldest son was diagnosed with a tumour at Christmas. Without being asked, Nick very kindly retweeted the tweet and I’ve been...

Nothing to keep us there anymore

yep remember the first leg of the playoff semi and how well the Ricoh coped with that downpour? A crap drainage system might have resulted in the ball getting stuck on the wing and costing us a goal.

    What a transformation

He’s been great for us - but we’ve been pretty good for him too. His track record at every other club he’s managed wouldn’t get him an interview for any job above our level. Manager (and Managerial team) and club seem to fit each other. Long may it continue.
