    Sky Blue Tavern

Jesus wept, if they can sell Carling at £2.50 a pint and still show a profit, they really shouldn’t need anyones help or deserve anyones pity….. 🤔 they should apply ‘forthwith’ for membership to the “magic circle” 🤔 even Paul Daniels would struggle to explain this one to me ‘He’d like to. Not a...

    Pub's now and then.

Funny you should say that, early 90s myself, brother and wives traveled up for a match. Parked up and left the girls in the city centre, walked to Highfield Rd and back again afterwards, somewhere near the swanswell we went in a small pub on a corner. Ordered our drinks and stood at the bar...

    Our home support

Every week on MOTD we watch the likes of Leeds v Man Utd, West Ham v Chelsea, Everton v Liverpool etc etc in completely sold out stadiums with a line of steward’s separating rival fans. It’s easy for the club at present to follow the advice and leave entire blocks empty, mainly because there...

Ultimately It would be the club’s decision to make, SAG is an advisory group with no real authority.

    The Orange Ball

Me & my brother traveled to Cov with 5 Norwich supporting mates, we went Cov side of Kop they went the other, then all met up at the end to get home. We won 2 v 1 and they were all drooling over Peter Undlovu all the way home, he scored the winner from 25 yards after dropping his shoulder and...

    Old Time Violence

I beg your pardon, Man Utd hold the record at Main Rd for the best supported League game,

    Old Time Violence

But it’s a record gate Man City fans hate to talk about, as it was actually for a Man Utd game. Utd we’re using Main Rd on account of Old Trafford being out of action due to bomb damage.

    The Orange Ball

Could well be mate, it’s a long time ago and my memory isn’t great nowadays, it sometimes plays tricks on me ‘where by, I remember something fully and in fine detail, then it comes out that the only thing I can recall correctly, is being there.

    The Orange Ball

I’ve got a feeling the double signing might have been Gareth Southgate & Richard Shaw from Palace, the latter obviously making the move eventually. Could be wrong but I recall a £5 million combined bid being made (£3 million for Southgate and £2 million for Shaw ) We were definitely after Lee...

For some reason only the first few lines of my reply came up, so for the record. Ipswich had a great side throughout the 1960s, 70s, 80s they produced two of the best England managers, World Cup Winner Sir Alf Ramsey and the ever popular Sir Bobby Robson. They qualified for European football 12...

    Blocks 2 & 3..

Whilst we’re not pulling the big crowds anyway it’s easy for the clubs owners to take on board the safety advice being offered up by SAG. Should we find ourselves in a position to fill all those empty seats ‘I doubt the owners would be so quick to comply.
