Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I mean this is just nonsense, people don't avoid bettering themselves because they think they're going to be taxed on it. Come off it ffs.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

You are keeping up a general myth. I am pretty sure you've posted about it before. Anyway, even if the Labour government does try to redress the balance (which it won't), it's a good idea and it isn't at the cost of private sector pay in any event. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Why do you keep up this public v private nonsense? From the IFS Given in some parts of the country including Coventry, the public sector represent a significant chunk of the workforce, to who's benefit is their pay being cut in real terms? Certainly not the local economy aka the private...

Household disposable income grew 0.3% per year in the last parliament. According to OBR it is projected to grow at just 0.4% per year in this one. . What is Labour for? The lack of household spending power is catastrophic for a service economy like ours. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

Government talks about growth yet the forecasts are abysmal, allowing them to bake in austerity forever which continues the abysmal growth which bakes in austerity which continues.... Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

    Attendance

Strangely our average gate has tracked almost exactly the average for the Championship or Division One as was from 2001/02. The league average then was 15k and is now 21k (40%) Our average in 2001 was 15,990 and this season is 26,873 (40.4%) Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

    Israel - Palestinian Conflict

The systematic demolition of the entire Gaza strip. The genocide of the people that live there. The attacks on civilians in the West Bank, the Lebanon and Iran. A horrible fucking entity supported by horrible people.

One thing (being hopeless optimistic here) Labour might be paving the way for is being a bit more emphatic on bus franchising / regulation. The areas that will retain the £2 cap are those that already have it in place.

Such poor politics again from Labour with the bus fare cap. Everything they seem to do is remove demand from the economy, where do they think this magical growth is going from?

    Premier League thread

There is so much wrong with United. They've not really had any sort of style of play since Ferguson left. As a result, all of their signings just seem quite random. They're just a sort of zombie outfit now really, can't see much changing even with a new manager.
