Half the people would think it was some sort of cosmetic.

So you think shared ownership isn't a thing that already exists?

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Knew someone would bring that up. I would say the answer is along the lines of shared ownership with others in similar situations, though I feel sure there will be other solutions.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Well doing something is better than nothing. By its very nature doing nothing will be worse. So you don't think the UK should lead and change opinion? I assume this is your stance on every issue and we should just abolish the Foreign office as there's no point in international diplomacy...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I said that some sort of method to ensure incompetent or lazy workers can be removed needs to be there. My main point was pretty much all other rights should be afforded to all employees from day one.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Do people need to own more than one home? No. Do businesses need to own residential property? No. It's about fairness and ensuring everyone has a chance of the security of owning their own home. Allowing individuals and companies to own huge numbers of properties and in the process price out...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Or we could lead and change opinions/show the benefits so others follow. Or we could just give up because other bigger polluters currently aren't bothering. Why do you have so little belief in our country and doing it down?

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

You missed the point. It was about deciding rights on an arbitrary marker. An 18yo is an adult You don't say they are new as an adult so can only have a fraction of the rights for a few years until they've proved worthy of them. If you're a new employee, you're still an employee and so should...

    UEFA EURO 2024

His hand was out from his body, and was moving towards the ball. However, that was due to momentum rather than deliberate. A penalty was harsh. However I think Germany not getting anything would also not have been fair. An indirect free kick would have been fair IMO. Someone else mentioned...

    24/25 Set up

Obviously depends on the squad changes yet to come, but likely a 4-2-3-1 / 4-3-3. Though I think we could also have 4-4-2 in short bursts just to change things up and mess with opposition set-ups.

    Ryton looking great

Minor irritant is the lack of sky blue in those borders, other than the blue fescue. Admittedly it's not an easy colour to get in nature but it would give it a club identity.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Surely you can write a law saying companies and organisations cannot own residential property and humans can only own one. I've said it before and will say it again, housing needs to be seen as a place to live, not a thing to make money.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

So should we only let 18yo's have a fraction of the rights of a full adult because they're new? Of course there needs to be some kind of process to ensure new recruits are up to scratch and can be removed if they aren't capable or take the piss but I don't see why that should mean they have...

    General election poll

How would you feel about a govt saying they would print a large chunk of money but limited to once in a parliament for a specified investment, say enabling transferring to green energy? Compare how the effect on the currency would work out compared to borrowing and the interest that would...

Putting rubbish in other people’s skip

Unacceptable. Though more often round here now it's people taking things out. Which I wouldn't mind so much but they just grab what they want and then leave whatever's left in any old state with stuff sticking out the top so it won't be taken. I take great care in how I load a skip to get the...

Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already

To be fair you don't say how far right of centre, but let's be honest, the centre isn't even viewable on the horizon from where Trump is. Biden is right of centre. It's just the US is inherently a right-wing country, certainly in economic terms.
