    Oggy

I’ve got to agree here, Clive, Stuart and Oggy are streets ahead of some of the other local commentaries. As we were playing Sunday, I went onto my TV box that has all of the Football League iFollows and watched Luton vs Stoke (god knows) and it was using BBC Bedfordshire commentary (or whatever...

    Sunderland fans crying "again"

Kevin Phillips on SkySports made a laughable comment after the game, to paraphrase; I think a draw would have been a fair result, Coventry scored early on and then it was fairly even after that. So, we deserved to win then? Or does being fairly even after a team has scored cancel out their goal!?

    Ipswich Tickets

I think IF we were to go up, a lot of our fans will be shocked by the prices of away tickets in the Championship. I don’t know the average price of an away ticket in the Champ but I would guess it’s over £25.

Clint, sorry autocorrect. Hope you enjoyed the game yesterday mate.

Fans who just stay in the bar.....

I agree, I want to watch the match myself. I started going up the City as an 8 year old for love of wanting to watch the football rather the love of drinking and I guess that’s stayed with me. We’re playing some fantastic football this season too and getting results, plenty to make people want...

Fans who just stay in the bar.....

Claude, how dare you, my shiny purple SI overshirt is not garish! I’ve got to say, it felt like the second half started ten minutes late which probably led to people staying down a bit longer... and sometimes if you’re having a good time with a beer you forget yourself. It’s not just at City...

    Get yourselves to Rochdale

Bought mine and 4 others tickets last week so that’s a few North West Sky Blues that will be at Rochdale. I always thought the Rochdale away end holds 3k but the club’s article this morning reads like we’ve sold the first allocation of just under a 1k and the next allocation of just under a 1k...

    What a transformation

Let's get the Thank You Banner from the Birmingham game back out! All jokes aside, I totally agree with your post. Like others have said, under Slade it became a question of how far we would fall. We were destined for relegation to League 2 and I really could see us dropping out of the football...

    Match Thread Birmingham match thread

Had to leave the game at half time of extra time, due to the last train back to Chester being at 22:50 pm... sped back to the station, knowing I couldn't miss it.... next thing I got messages saying Biamou has scored with a couple of minutes to go, celebrated, ran in M&S bought some own brand...

    Match Thread Birmingham match thread

I'm travelling down from Chester, £25 return train ticket and won't get back until 1:20am due to the rail replacement bus from Crewe. Because I'm a better fan? No, because I'm a glutton for punishment and I know come 7:45pm tomorrow, watching a dodgy stream of the game, I'll regret not going...

    Match Thread Birmingham match thread

An Away Only supporter wouldn't have a home ST (presumably), so as the tickets have been on General since Friday, a lot more should have been sold.

According to the Website, we have sold 4100. I'm slightly surprised, thought the away only supporters would have sold this out.

    FA Cup 5th Round

With Birmingham Away Vol. 2 next week and potentially Leicester Away in a few weeks, there’s only one winner and one loser.... Loser: West Midlands Police Winner: Tessuti I’m sure the SIB are already begging their parents to buy them a new jumper!

    Police

I didn’t see any trouble before or after the game. Before the game we drank around the city centre and was a mix of Cov and Blues fans getting on sound and enjoying the day. At about 1, a group of Cov turned up chanting, in a police escort and tried to get in the Sun on the Hill. Shock horror...

4th Round vs Birmingham - "thank you" banner

I didn’t say they have, I just made a suggestion for an alternative gesture to a banner. BCFC could have still taken our money and treated us like second class citizens (just like Wasps and CCC) - they haven’t.

4th Round vs Birmingham - "thank you" banner

If people aren’t feeling the idea of a thank you banner, what about a donation to whatever the BCFC Club charity is, as a gesture of thanks? Everyone associated with the club and local businesses have been nothing but welcoming.

What a shock... the trust "speak up"

All smoke and mirrors as per usual Nick. I wouldn’t blame the club if they refused to acknowledge the Sky Blues Trust anymore, they’re self serving to the detriment of the club and other supporters.
