Surely Mr Timpson isnt suggesting that a woman can't do time but a man can for the same offence?
That's not going to go down well in 2024
And what if the "man" identifies as a "woman"
There's a lot of rumours and gossip but nothing concrete.
Southampton, West Ham and Everton were supposedly interested in him. If that's true I'd of thought any of those would be a better fit, and have more chance of staying up (no offence)
But ultimately, he's gone and we've already...
I'm not so sure, O'hare loves the limelight, he's used to the adoration and used to being the big fish.
At Leicester he'll be lucky to get much game time (imo) and the fans there arnt exactly enthusiastic about him signing.
The money is obviously the sweetener, and as I said I can see why...
If he goes to Leicester purely for the money, then fair play and good luck to him.
A footballers career is short and having had an ACL injury, he might think about grabbing the money while it's there.
But ...... He's left a club that nurtured him, developed him, looked after him when he was...
There's a reason why me, you and everyone else on here isn't in prison, it's because we have a moral compass that keeps us on the (relatively) straight and narrow, regardless of the trauma life has thrown at us.
We haven't needed the state to step in and make our problems easier so we don't...
Exactly. It's easier to let convicted criminals out than to come up with a solution to the overcrowded prisons.
Why not just build more prisons? And invest in rehabilitation to cut down on re-offending rather than locking people up for 23 hours a day.
We haven't ruled over shit since before ww2
No ones left alive from the days when Britania ruled the waves.
What we may(?) Have is an elderly generation that can't understand the dumb ass decisions being made by todays younger generations. Try explaining to them why there's a need for so...
We should have some real quality on the bench this season.
Potentially the likes of Torp, EMC, Kitching, Collins, Raphael, Lats, Allen and a new striker.
That's a big improvement over last season when we relied on the kids
Thierry Henry was a winger before switching to a striker, and he didn't do too badly.
Your getting far too hung up on positions mate. Especially for a player we arnt likely to sign.
Who said he ain't used to it?
You do realise we started Wright as a CF at the start of last season but switched him to LM. Raphael has played LW, RW and Striker.
Tavares is a striker but looked better as a winger.... I could go in.
