Torp is a top player I think, not been fully fit or sharp at all for us yet, and still has had moments of brilliance imagine how good he’ll be when he gets a proper post season rest and preseason with the squad
If Simms, Haji and Tats carry on their goalscoring record into next season theoretically minus injuries and if they played say 38 full games each will score :
Simms 20 goals
Haji 19 goals
Tats 12 goals
Thats already 51 goals and I’d back EMC to bag 7 or 8 taking it up to 58/59, thats a good...
It makes sense, 2 options at the 6 with Sheaf and Eccles, many options at the 8 with Allen, Browne, Torp and Eccles, and options to play the creative CM thats sort of like a cross between a 10 and 8 in Torp, Palmer and potentially Browne or Allen
I think next season the squad will look something like this
new gk / Brad Collins
Sam McCallum / Jay Dasilva
New CB (Binks?) / Liam Kitching
Bobby Thomas / Joel Latibeaudiere
Milan van Ewijk / Jack Burroughs
Ben Sheaf / Josh Eccles
Victor Torp / new CM
Alan Browne / Jamie Allen
Tatsuhiro...
If you had to pick 5 all time city players to make a 5 a side team who would you pick. Thought just crossed my mind and I think I’d play a 1-2-1
GK - Hedman
Def - Mo Konjic
Mid - Hutch
Mid - Hamer
ST - Dublin
Dasilva is good going forward and most have said is good as a wing back, but doesnt cut it as a full back when forced to defend as is targeted, however in an attacking team where the team dominates possession he would be fine at LB which is why I think some clubs are watching him because...
Thats a good point actually, but Collins also played a small chunk with Fadz as well, obviously less sample size with him, but it shows the need for a leader maybe McNair would be a good signing
