Yep, thought Hamer was head and shoulders above everyone yesterday. Baffled how so few seem to have recognised that.

    Next Season’s Ticket Prices

It was recently announced that there is going to be a direct rail link between Coventry and Leicester. I suspect this will be the route it takes, so that will mean electrification and you would hope a significant improvement in local services too. I guess this would be a 10 year+ project though...

    Next Season’s Ticket Prices

I thought the main issue is at Coventry Station and delays to the new bay platform. From what I understand, there will be no significant changes to the Cov-Nuneaton service until that is completed.

    Next Season’s Ticket Prices

A small increase in ST prices is to be expected, although I have to buy 4 and that really stings. I don't see it being 30% though, I believe boxes sold out this season, so that hike will be driven by supply and demand. Matchday prices should be left well alone though. I see some people hae...

    Championship 21/22

Cardiff stats last night - 32% possession, 4 shots on target, won 4-0. Oh to be that clinical....

Match Thread City v Blackpool Tuesday

Well I don't for sure, it is just a sense. Anyhow, I thought you were arguing for player investment on the basis that the crowds have been higher than anticipated and therefore there should be surplus cash. If you're now saying that is not the case and we are continuing to lose money, then the...

Match Thread City v Blackpool Tuesday

This is on the money. The truth is we lack quality in key areas - or more specifically, match winners. We are a good side, have good technical players, are well-drilled and work hard, so can often dominate games, but this all meaningless really. The simple truth is it is 4 wins in 17. At...

Match Thread City v Blackpool Tuesday

I think it is high time some people realised were not nearly as good as they think we are. We're utterly bereft of ideas in the final 3rd. All this angst about missing out on the top 6; that was never on the cards even with January investment. Hopefully we can better last season's points tally...

    Fans today

It possibly was, but just judging it by our own standards I guess, and it has been better this season. TBH it seems most weeks I hear home supporters declare that we're the best away fans they've seen all season.

Thought we were decent, but we have been better this season I think (Peterborough was miles better). Perhaps it was because I was in the bottom left corner next to their supporters. Thought we were good by the standards of most clubs, but a little under par for us.

    Bakayoko

What mockery? He was well treated by the fans. Regardless of what was said on forums like this, he was often greeted by a chorus of his song and was backed. He was never a boo boy.

    Our social media

One thing that is noticeable is how any club that has played in the PL since 2011 generally has quite a high number of twitter followers as they gain huge numbers from overseas on promotion - although there are exceptions like Derby. I think Huddersfield went from 80K to 250K overnight when...

Just that with their links to CCFC it wouldn't feel right. They'd have no issue setting up a venue somewhere in Birmingham, they just wouldn't any links to a football club other than CCFC.

    Sky Blue Tavern

Attended the fans forum at Dhillons this evening so thought I'd post a summary here. Really impressed with what I heard, there is a clear desire to listen to supporters and keep improving. There is no doubting the commitment and the substantial investment that has been made. They now employ...

    Middlesbrough fans

Absolutely. I like Middlesbrough, the people are self-deprecating in a way you only see in this type of post-industrial town. Give me somewhere like Middlesbrough over a soy latte drenched, soulless, spirit-sucking hellhole in the home counties any day. Had a great day on Saturday. Locals were...

    Trouble on Saturday?

No, not really. It can be used to excuse a lame tongue-in-cheek chant like this, but there is plenty where it is not a valid excuse. There is no equivalence between this and some of the behaviour we've witnessed recently.

    Trouble on Saturday?

Just file this one under shit banter. I doubt Derby fans will lose any sleep over it, and I imagine it made their late equaliser all the sweeter. Bit like Sheff United at our place, we all got wound up for 10 minutes, but it didn't really mean anything. Very much a case of yeah, whatever.

Yeah saw that but we're only singles left a couple of hours ago and none available now, so look to be gone.

Bit late getting tickets for this, but could only get singles just now, looks to be about sold out.

    The CBS

People can claim that the atmosphere has tailed off a bit as the season has progressed, but it was decent again tonight, and let's be honest, is head and shoulders above every other ground I have visited this season. Nowhere else has come close tbf.
