From Bristol? If he moves it will be Premiership

    It is in my opinion.

No, I meant the fee we could get is the equivalent of that

And let’s not forget, every time I’ve watched Chalaboah he’s been absolutely rank.

    Callum contract offer

I do mean it. He’s a good player. I’d like us to keep him. But he’s not staying. We are much better cash wise with DK but in business terms he’s the equivalent of 2, possibly 3,000 season ticket sales. The counter argument is that keeping him short term could get us a play off spot and I...

    Our management

Robins and Viveash are without doubt the powerhouse taking the club forward. We’re lucky club owners are generally witless egotists who want “a name” at the helm rather than anyone who’s any good. Long may it continue.

    Callum contract offer

No way any of Eccles/Sheaf/Allen are getting dropped for Torp yet. As for O’Hare, these protracted wranglings do my head in. It’s obvious he’s going. We should go all out to cash in on him this window. Anything £1m plus - take it.

This team will be better than the 22/23 team

Most likely target by far is Wright. Or as many want to see him Dougie McGuire mk 2024.

    My concern with Robins

    I’d rather have Ian Beale.

I dont miss Highfield Road anymore

H Rd was special but the CBSA is a far better all round stadium.

Just seen Win-Bassaka win a tackle. Clearly takes the ball first but his follow through is considered dangerous. Foul and yellow card. Standard decision nowadays.

This team will be better than the 22/23 team

Yep, fine. Wide left forward - no. He’s just playing as a left sided forward. Same as Kitching is playing as a left sided CH.

Left of centre is very different to left wing.

    Value in our squad

Thomas is a bit of a throwback defender. I don’t mind that, gets his head on everything etc. But it also has risks like yesterday. Kitching is quite a long way ahead for me. But having said that I think he’s quite a special player.

OK, so flip it round. The logic of what you are saying is that you can do anything in the tackle as long as you’ve touched the ball first. You can’t. 20 years ago - yes. Now - no. The players know that.

This team will be better than the 22/23 team

Can we end the notion that Wright has been playing “wide left” or as a “left winger”. He’s playing centre forward. It’s like saying Kitching is playing left back.

What does this club mean to you?

First game was late 70’s. Used to love going to the Reserves all through the 80’s and 90’s for a chance to sit in The Main Stand. Had over 30 years of season tickets covering the CBS, West Stand and Terrace, Kop and then East Stand. West Stand was the best view of the lot.

“Celebrated like it was their cup final”

The celebrations are great. Anything diminishing that from a losing opponent is just bitterness.

Think about someone like Lloyd McGrath. How whole career built around tackling. Good, hard, legal tackling. If he comes along nowadays he simply doesn’t have a career. It’s a block, jockey and head game for defenders now. You just can’t risk tackling. Look no further than the Leicester pen today...
