100% agree. Palmer's effectiveness is over-rated because he shows flashes of skill occasionally, but essentially he is a bit of a show pony. Allen is more effective overall (and a better team player too).

I don't necessarily think Sheaf going would derail our season BTW, especially if it happens in next few days. I trust the recruitment team to find a very good replacement and I think a physical, commanding centre back with leadership qualities would make a big difference. Not as worried about...
