Regarding the Enemy, only the bass player is a City fan. The singer is from Birmingham and not overly into football, and the drummer is a Man Utd fan. They took on the guise of all being City fans though, in order to build local support.

Bad: The game at Crystal Palace where we were 1-0 up in the 90th minute and lost 2-1. Was early in the season, but knew we were in big trouble.

Seems the RFU see established clubs like Coventry, Bedford, Richmond etc.. as an inconvenience. They would much rather have a second division of Wasps A, Harlequins A, Leicester Tigers A etc.. Sad day for rugby :(

Tom Bates was highly rated as a youngster. Made 1 appearance under McAllister, then disappeared without trace.

Grew up on Catesby Road, just round the corner from them. Used to see the Dad every morning doing his paper round. They were a very well known family in the area, but mainly just because of how many of them there were. Always a strange family, but no hint of anything like this.
