    O'Hare bids

Feels like a shit fee, he’s worth a lot more to us than £6m. It’s probably not far off his market value though, and we don’t know what add ons are agreed for promotion, sell-on, etc. We also don’t know what happens with the money. Ultimately we’ve spent millions on players the past 2-3 years...

    Incoming! - Callum Doyle

Hard to know what to expect, sounds like he's good with the ball but short defensively. Suspect our style and playing in a 3 will suit him. Players improve rapidly at that age too.

    As it stands

I wouldn’t start Palmer yet, let him have a couple off the bench, build his match fitness. Also Gyokeres is probably our best player, never mind striker.

    Transfer Shouts

Not sure how good he is though, beyond being another defender, not sure he improves things.

Any think it's very unprofessional? Leak in the camp

Haha jeez it's not The West Wing

    Hamer bids

Some weird appraisals here. His form in the first half of 20/21 basically kept us up. Then last season he was brilliant throughout. Does everything and more that you’d want from a player in that position. O’Hare and Gyokeres great players too, but Hamer will be a massive loss for us. Not easily...

    Derby points deduction

That Malcolm Ebiowei has joined Palace. Was the best performance from an opposition player I saw last season (or certainly the one I noticed most), and I'd never heard of him before the game.

    Gyökeres Bids

I think he definitely would be. World Cup on the horizon, he will be desperate to be involved. It wasn’t something I’d considered, but could give us a better chance of keeping hold of him. Edit - ignore entirely

    Sam McCallum

Not sure this is true. Was one of our better players first year in the champ. He’s got all the ingredients for me, strong, athletic, competitive, and a capable defender. Hamstring injury affected his progress last season, but by all accounts did well when he played. Don’t love the idea of...

    Transfer Shouts

Ultimately to compete and step on we have to be clever, and take calculated risks. He's got pedigree and proven ability, but his career has taken a dip and he's not played enough football. Bottom line is, he's a good age, not had any major injuries, and should be an upgrade on what we've got...

    Transfer Shouts

Optimistic that he can work nicely with our set up. Effectively I’d see him as challenging for Allen’s position. Had a bad spell but evidently a good player, with pedigree.

    Championship 22-23

Depends entirely on the business they do, and they've not done a great job of that recently. They weren’t a great side last season and haven’t got many players that look certainties to step up. They’ll probably be fine as you basically need to be a small fish or a basket case to go down from...

    Transfer Shouts

From a quick glance on Twitter, Southampton have been linked with O’Hare at various points since 2017 when he was at Villa, so could be legs in it. Not sure we could expect another side to pay much more than £7m, but I think he’s worth more than that to us. If he bagged half the amount of goals...

    Tyler walker

My god, what a baby you are. I don’t mean he’s scrapping every two minutes, I mean aggressive when playing football; he was strong, looked for contact, put himself about. Hardly a controversial opinion. Not even saying he’s a good player.

    Lol, fair play, really funny

    Tyler walker

Strange. What point are you making there? Just read through and I stand by what I said (a long time ago, and v strange that you've cited it). The reason Biamou was played so often was because Walker wasn't good enough, didn't have a presence. Biamou wasn't good enough, but he was aggressive and...

    Tyler walker

Walker isn't up to the level. Doesn't have the technical ability, pace, or strength required, and then crucially appears to lack the intensity and aggression required to combat those shortcomings. Not questioning his attitude or professionalism, these aren't attributes you can just turn...

    Transfer Shouts

V good player at this level, Luton aside we always looked stronger with him in the team.

    Their manager…

Was ridiculous when he came on the pitch, could tell he fancies himself a really good manager.
