One thing you notice from these state of the art training grounds that you see prem teams have got compared to ryton is that ryton isn’t just small, it feels it - very low ceilings in small rooms, tight corridors. Pokey. Whereas the new ones, I suppose like all new build similar buildings like...

It’s the same design as last seasons Everton training gear but not the same colours, judging by their online shop. I can live with that. ours last season was just generic hummel football training gear with our badge on it.

Sunderland away in the Robbie Keane season - a girl band played on pitch, did a song or two. I think it was Precious? I think they represented us at Eurovision or something? Lost 1-0 to a don hutchison goal. To be honest it was probably the best thing about that whole day.

McNair was a sub in that home league game….. (and yes I have just had to Google it). And yeah I realise about the Hamer goal but I felt he actually dealt with him pretty well at the end of the season in those games.

Paddy McNair had the measure of Gyokeres each time we played them season before last. This season not so much against us. But isn’t he a midfielder that was playing centre half? may be wrong on that…
