Spoke to a couple of the local police force , and all were in agreement that the City FANS were a credit to the club (one pc was even a Pompey supporter seconded to the game ) , well done to all who travelled down to St Marys .:claping hands:
Agree Sheffs has done nothing since Bury last Auguust and he did sweet f a that night.Murphy has improved as the season we nt on .Any player who is thinking about leaving should say to themselves who would buy me after i have just help relegate Cov City ( with the odd exception ).
Just had a glimpse of the new England shirt , white, red collar , red badge (3 lions in red ), NO blue at all on shirts , would look smart with the tradional blue shorts .
:D
His "son" at the moment would appear to be Peter Lorimer. A legend at the club who is doing his best to tarnish his reputation among Leeds supporters.
Hope Sillett does'nt end up the same way amongst us.
How about a mass sit in ( on the pitch ) at the next Saturday home game before or after . It needs something desperate to make our voices heard , so far i think it has been a waste of time , there has only been one winner and its not been the fans .
Just watched MAN IN THE MOON ( Andy Kaufmann of TAXI fame biography , played by Jim Carey ) if anyone has missed it try watching , (the man was a complete lunatic , he would have fitted in well on the City board ,) GREAT FILM.
Worst the BLOB with Steve McQueen. (showing my age ).
My first game was 1958 as well , City at home to Plymouth Argyle ( CITY in the New Division Four as it was then, with Argyle in Division Three ) in the 2nd round FA cup ,which
Plymouth won .
Just look where both teams are now.
Don`t believe a word (or rumours ) untill everything has been signed and delivered , even then i would have my doubts that someone hadn`t dotted the Is or crossed the Ts.
I`m off to watch Hartlepool v Carlisle , first ever visit to the Monkey Hangers Victoria Ground ( wer`e doing a reccy for next season )
Any one taking a game in this Saturday.
Best game Murphy has had all season, and i for one have called him for most of the time , but i `m glad he has proved me wrong down at the Boleyn .
Come Saturday we can do it against Saints( with or without protesters for the opening 15 minutes ):claping hands:.
