    Transfer Shouts

I'd say as likely as we are to signing all the players we get tenuously linked with. I would personally be incredibly surprised if all 3 were sold in one summer window.

    New Kit !

Love it, think it is the best one they have done yet. Love the links with the cathedral, think the central badge is different and looks amazing. Great job!

    Transfer Shouts

Yeah I think that's pretty fair, I agree that most of the early business we do I would imagine would be permanent signings and then later in the window we will add a loan or two on top. Like we have the last few summers. 2 years ago, Ostigard was announced 27th August and Sheaf on 4th September...

    Robins on EFL Podcast

I think Styles could definitely be target. Robins absolutely raved about him on CWR after we beat them at the CBS, so much so I literally thought at the time we might want him. He does press and is very energetic so would fit how we play.

    Retained list

Sad about Jones but think it is the right decision. Been here for a long time, had the most ill fortune with Injuries but has worked so hard to get back fit for a 3rd time after many had wrote him off. His passion for us and workrate can't be questioned. Wish him absolutely nothing but the...

    Transfer Shouts

Well yes exactly 100% And obviously if/when our top assets move on we have to makesure we do the same aswell. Exciting summer I think and lots of reasons to be optimistic. Robins signing a new deal the most important thing!

    Transfer Shouts

Yeah he seems to have the right sense to make stepping stone moves in his career and ensure he plays regularly. A friend of mines Dad is on the board at MK so spoke to him a lot about their star players, Twine being one. Their price for him was £2m in January but probably gone up from his...

5 years today Mark robins took over

When he came back, I don't think many of us would have thought that 5 years later we would be fuming and gutted that a defeat has dented our Championship play off hopes. Its been an incredible journey and so long as he is at the helm I'll be confident we will continue to improve. He is by far...

    Ratings thread

Tavares may or may not ultimately be good enough. I'm glad he got some minutes yesterday, Waghorn looked very slow and lethargic and at the very least Tamara's did bring some pace and energy which we had been sorely lacking. His record for the u23s for me warrants an opportunity, like Biamou...

    Martyn Waghorn

I think Waghorn adds something, (not in terms of scoring goals) but he fits into how we build up our attacks. He also clearly has a good partnership with Vik aswell. If Waghorn had scored one of those chances yesterday he'd have been a hero, sadly he didn't and we have gone out. But kthe last 4...

    Hilsner Loaned Out!

Great to have been able to get him out as well. Genuinely think this window has far exceeded expectations, shifting on a lot of the dead wood and bringing in a experienced, proven Champ player on a perm. Like everyone else a CAM would make it probably a perfect window, but very happy with what...

Transfer Rumour Jake Bidwell - Confirmed

Would be absolutely buzzing with this signing. Exactly what we need; very quick, very strong and has ability to get assists too. Thought he was outstanding against us when we played Swansea earlier this season. Got the better of Dabo defensively and offensively every single time, and remember...

    Reality check

It is great that we are in a position this season that our 'dissappintment' of losing to Preston on Tuesday night is because we missed an opportunity to go up to 3rd place and build a 6 point gap to those teams outside the playoffs as opposed to being disappointed that another game goes by as we...

    Knee jerk

Well ironically our only away win this season came when we played the Box formation with Vik up top on his own. So maybe that would be more suited when we are away.

    Near post article

So I was asked by Near Post to write some key points on and off the pitch that have been different this season compared to last and hopefully I managed to cover a few. They were dealing with the stats part but I was focusing on the aspects that have led to this marked improvement. Appreciate...

    Never change a winning side

Allen and Hamer have been fantastic when they have been our midfield (apart from Luton) they both bring a much energy to the side, and my slight concern was whether with Sheaf and Kelly would we miss that dynamism and energy. But it showed that we may lose some Flair but we gained a lot of...

Transfer Rumour Where will Max Biamou end up?

I don't think it's anything to do with clubs not wanting him. He could do a very good job in L2 and even in L1 for someone. Maybe he isn't bothered, maybe he is spending time with family etc, and will get a team down the line.

    Waghorn

Waghorn is an absolute perfect foil for Viktor. He will get more goals but his involvement is so important to us and those around him. His work rate is super aswell. I really like him.

    Expected Goals table

I think you always have to take Xg with a pinch of salt. However I distinctly remember last season being like 25 games in and we hadn't got a single win on the Xg table. So there certainly is a massive upturn in our chance creation and defensive solidity.

    A Cardiff fans view

Some of our interplay quick one touch stuff was genuinely unreal until the final ball, a combination of some good last ditch defending coupled with dodgy final passes meant we weren't out of sight. Even when Godden came on, that flicked heade to Vik and his run deserved a goal but a poor pass...
