    Squad Formation

Close but after hearing Deegan's chat I would like to see him and expect him to start against Leicester. ....................Murphy...................... Keogh......Cranie......Turner......Hussey ....................Clingan...

    Lack of gratitude?

Have a day off mate, this is a forum where people present what is on their minds. We are not kids off school, we are adults bored at work trying to fill a gap in a remarkably uneventful day for Coventry City news.

Whats your regular Bet when you go to the Ricoh?

Quality, my mate backed Wood quite a lot. He also got the time of the first goal (to the nearest 10 mins) right a few times. I think he won more than I did over the season.

    Squad Formation

Following on from our previous discussion Sheepy, I am still not sure I would play Baker. I don't see the point of having Clingan and Deegan playing deep as its just too defnsive.

    In memory of Rosalind Cooke

Sad news of an unknown and unsung Sky Blue heroine. I hope they pay tribute to her personality and her hard work for the club at the first game of the season. R.I.P.

WOW! I love your confidence Rev. This is the most optimistic thread we have seen in here since this... http://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/threads/9207-City-get-second-verbal-agreement-on-King-(from-CCFC-website)?highlight=king

    Compared to last season...

OK, second dilemma... McSheffrey's best position is clearly at the top of the diamond. Baker is not the same player confidence wise as when Coleman signed him, when Sheff was injured under Thorn the team lost its spark for me and Baker did't carry the team in his absence. I don't see Deegan as...

    Lack of gratitude?

Contradicting myself just having a look at the players that Cardiff have bought in I doubt they will struggle this season afterall so my prediction of them dropping down the table as they have lost quality is false.

    Lack of gratitude?

Wow! That really does put it into perspective. To say the sport has lost its way is an understatement. The way that players behave and conduct themselves is atrocious.

    Lack of gratitude?

King: We got his career back on track and he owes a lot to the Sky Blues but after the manner in which he left I did not expect a thank you especially with the animosity of joining a local club. Gunnar: This move has been a bit on the quiet and he let his contract run down and has sneaked out...

    Leicester and their spending!

That is a different arguement altogether. Personally I think we saw the best from McSheffrey when he played at the top of the diamond and as much as I am not a fan of Eastwood I would play him alongside Juke. In an ideal world I would like us to bring in another striker even if its on loan but...

    Compared to last season...

Despite a lot of the 'big' (rich) teams spending a lot of money already in this transfer window I have to agree that I have confidence in Thorn's ability to get results. I think the crucial position we had to address was in goal and Andy has covered that one before preseason even got underway...

    Leicester and their spending!

I think everyone was quite impressed by Juke's work ethics which was a refreshing change from Morrison, Eastwood, and other strikers that we have had over recent seasons. What stood out for me was his high number of shots on goal even if a lot were off target suggests that he got himself in the...
