    Matthew Penning Joins on Loan

Could have been worse. Knowing our owners, it's a wonder we didn't sign Michael Pennington.:sarcasm:

    Leon Clarke

Clarke did an excellent job for us, but he knew when to jump ship. He was given an offer he couldn't refuse and cannot be blamed for that. His career has plenty of clubs and he never stays long anywhere. He is a journeyman, but a very decent one. If he goes on loan in January he will be...

    Morale as a ccfc fan

Do you dread Saturdays? Not dread, but I don't look forward to match days any more. Is watching ccfc a chore? I'm afraid the answer is 'Yes'. Having never missed games before the Sixfields fiasco, it is now difficult to motivate to actually go, given the total lack of entertainment and...

    sign up Ched Evans

Sorry, I don't buy it. McCormick was responsible for the deaths of two young children. By setting off to drive on a motorway when drunk it is completely foreseeable that there were likely to be tragic consequences. It was almost as bad as what Lee Hughes did. Evans probably didn't set out to...

    sign up Ched Evans

There does seem to be a lot of hypocrisy over this issue of 'having done their time'. People who have served their sentence are hounded for life for certain offences where certain lobbies are involved. Marlon King was, and Evans now is being regarded as a pariah for a sexual offence because...

Do you Regret Calling for Gordon Strachan's Head

Quite correct. Strachan lost the plot during the relegation season and his team selections became more and more bizarre as the season went on. I always felt that the squad was plenty good enough to be mid-table but the players seemed to have lost all faith in the management. Who could forget...

Good deal from the City !

I saw that they were doing this for £10 + VAT for the Plymouth game and we would have gone for it had we not been away on holiday. I think they are really struggling to sell the hospitality packages this season. We have had this a couple of times in the past and there were loads of us on the...

    Soccer am

I remember when SoccerAM was actually funny. Showing my age, I know. I seem to recall that there was once a girl City fan on there who showed the world that she had no knickers on. Anyone remember it?

Where we are at now and how we got there

I believe Walsall have a Sunday market in the car park. I can imagine it now. Stalls full of old clothes, dodgy DVDs and second hand books. And Tim Fisher flogging greasy burgers out of an old caravan. That's what you call a revenue stream!

    Worcester Game On Tele Then?

Didn't we play some of the games at Sixfields at 2pm on Sundays? Maybe Northampton Town are using the Ricoh on the Saturday.....

    Sepalla interview

This is what makes no sense to me and makes Seppala look like a complete fool. Surely they are still planning their own Fantasy Park somewhere in the Coventry area. So why would they want to own 50% of the stadium where they are only planning to play for the next 3.5 seasons? It is utterly...

    champions of champions snooker

That woman used to be a pool attendant down at Cov Baths. ACL don't employ just anybody, you know.

    442

This is right. I listened to Pressley's interview on the FL Show and he was saying something like we played in the 'real Coventry City way'. I thought that was about right - inconsistent, play well one half and rubbish the other, and only wake up when the game looks like a lost cause...

    2 options for Saturday

Unfortunately most people are going for Option 3. That involves deciding that the fodder served up at the Ricoh is bad and getting worse, so they choose to do something else instead.

    The calander year under SP

Exactly the point. Whether we keep or sack Pressley, whether we play 4-4-2, 3-5-2 or whatever, none of this will make any real difference, it is simply rearranging the deckchairs on the Titanic. We need new owners who want to see the club succeed and progress, and who have serious funds to...

    The calander year under SP

I am not in the least impressed with Pressley and his post-match comments and excuses are becoming more predictable and pathetic by the week. His tactics and transfer dealings have been poor and our current form and position come as no great surprise to me. He seems to be digging in and...

    The Pie Money

They certainly won't be impressed if they have to pay £6.88 a pint for it either.

If City Fans Were Restaurant Customers

I remember watching it in Channel 4's worst films season a few years ago. I think Lugosi died during filming but it was so low budget they couldn't re-shoot. So they used an extra to fill in, shielding his face with a cloak. Really worth a watch after a few beers!

    It's all a blame game.

Johnson missed more than he played over the last 2 seasons at Sheffield Wednesday. He is a decent player when fit, although his temperament has come into question. But it seems that some players go through their careers picking up injuries every season and recovering from them very slowly...

If City Fans Were Restaurant Customers

I think we would be 'Plan 9 From Outer Space', often regarded as the worst film ever made. It's so bad it's laughable, which fits in with some recent performances.
