    boothroyd or thorn

Boothroyd had much better players at his disposal with a transfer kitty and much bigger wage budget. He was SISU's last throw of the dice at promotion. Therefore it's hard to compare the 2 fairly. Give me Andy Thorn's style of play any day - and given the resources Aidy had i'd tip Thorn to...

    Gary Speed dead

Devastated for his family. You really wouldn't expect this from a guy like him. I wonder if we'll ever know why :( R.I.P Gary. Quality player and top bloke.

Brinner is our leader, Lets make history Brinner, lets march to the Ricoh

You think that's bad mate you should try it in the Tesco stand! V Southampton some old b*stard in front told me to "stop shouting SISU Out down his lugholes" and "This isn't the place to protest, you missed your chance by not going to their headquarters before Millwall" Got some real defeatist...

KEOGH FOR ENGLAND SQUAD - Why Not ???

    Thanks Christopher Columbus ;)

KEOGH FOR ENGLAND SQUAD - Why Not ???

SISU would love us to blame that. Strange how these things never effect the inbreds down the road

KEOGH FOR ENGLAND SQUAD - Why Not ???

He's still a good Championship player no matter how poor our team might be. And as for someone on that other forum saying he shouldn't even be in City's team, let alone Englands; well that's ludicrous.

KEOGH FOR ENGLAND SQUAD - Why Not ???

As Otis quite rightly said on GMK it is like a graveyard. There are 2 reasons for that: 1. Being terribly maintained with it crashing consistently on match days. 2. The huge population of trolls and Leicester City supporters. I love SBT - I actually get to talk about City and not the recession.

    Fight at Game

There may be some truth in that, however Rugby isn't anywhere near as passionate - when tries and drop goals get scored half the crowd don't even stand up, just clap politely.

KEOGH FOR ENGLAND SQUAD - Why Not ???

Haha, finding this thread very amusing! The truth lies somewhere in the middle. Keogh is a very good Championship defender, and for me his pace means that he could play in the Premier League, just about. But England?! Not a chance (and not just because he has played for ROI U-21's)

    Fight at Game

Away fans shouldn't be sitting in the home end, it's asking for trouble. Football means a lot to people and tempers are bound to flare if there's a controversial incident. There's a reason it's segregated - we're not neutrals.

We have a damn good team, all we need to do is score goals

Spot on Tankie. This situation is totally of SISU's making. The majority of our fans are complete mugs who are so used to being sh*t on that they just accept it. Blackburn's protests have been far greater than ours and the only issue they have is the manager! We have some cracking...

Fans Support of Andy Thorn: A sign of just how far we have fallen?

I think the diamond suits the players at our disposal very well. We have only a handful of experienced midfielders and little or no width. When we played 4-4-2 it was criticized because McSheffrey let us down defensively and Baker & Bell didn't have enough pace. We all know the squad is...

    Who would you apply?

Dennis Wise. You all know i'm right!

Fans Support of Andy Thorn: A sign of just how far we have fallen?

Clearly managerial appointments could have been much better - but in Coleman's case in particular they seemed a good choice at the time. At least Ranson wanted us to go for it - whereas SISU... Well god knows what those prats thought the game plan was.

Fans Support of Andy Thorn: A sign of just how far we have fallen?

His vision of buying players like Dann, Fox and Westwood would have seen us finishing much higher up the league if SISU hadn't bottled it and started selling off playing assets (IMO). SISU blew it when they abandoned 'plan A'. It was their only chance of getting us promoted and making a return...

How bizarre that you side with SISU over Ranson. I think you're the Adrian Durham of this forum. You'll say anything to wind people up.
