TBF the stewards didn't do anything terribly wrong it was the police. I'm not anti-police at all but they were discraceful yesterday. I did notice for some reason there was far more police in the ground than usual. Antagonising the fans is only going to turn people away.

Sorry to be pedantic, but Nilsson's first spell here was in the 90's. He only played a few games in this league when we got relegated first as player/assistant manager to Gordon Strachan, then near the end of the 01/02 season where he was manager, he retired after a fan ran on the pitch to argue...

I think 99% of fans have forgiven DD now, especially since he did work for Sky and said nice things about us. The worst thing was him refusing to play in a League Cup game at Luton and us getting beat. Some of the songs sung about him at the time were terrible though!

I don't know when the last time you went in The Wheel but I wouldent reccomend it. Its gone downhill in the last few years and the lager is very hit and miss and its £2.85 a pint.

The Shire Horse was indeed burnt down with the landlord and his wife living in it, thankfully they escaped. My dad used to play for and run their football team years ago. White Horse in Wood End is closed now apparently and the Live And Let Live is no longer standing.
