    Best third round game

Mine is 20 years ago, 1998 beat Liverpool 3-1 at Anfield with Huckerby scoring a cracker at the Kop

Stand up if you've never watched Wasps

Never watched them live, actively avoid any news stories or TV coverage, do check their results hoping that they lose. Know far too many people who have switched allegiance from Cov to WASPS, worse still its the casual fans who will chose a WASPS game over Christmas over Cov for example. If...

    Nomads

I fear option 2 - WASPS going belly up is their strategy. As for the Butts, have it on good authority that won't share a ground whilst SisU own Cov

What's the possibility of us being at The Butts next season?

The East Stand / former kop end at Highfield road was a great atmosphere - especially in the concourse at half time.I find the concourses at Ricoh very depressing when there are small Crowds especially in the West Stand

    Micky Quinn

Calm down its nearly 25 years since he scored twice against the Villa on our 3-0 boxing day win having scored twice against Liverpool the previous week when we won 5-1, he'll always be ok with me.

cov fans away compared to at home

Best atmosphere at the Ricoh IMO was the Wolves last minute penalty save back in 2009

    Lincoln Away

Match Thread Chesterfield - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 2nd Sep

Stokes is probably the slowest left-back in this league but he can compensate for this with his exceptional skill such as crossing, centre half or part of a back 3 but never convinced me as a full back

    Matchday experience

The small crowds and the lack of any meaningful success at the stadium does worsen the whole matchday experience

    Matchday experience

Stood on the hill at Sixfields, but that looked a fairly poor matchday experience, an open stadium on the edge of a town. Port Vale, Chesterfield were far better, based in the heart of the town centre. Also my biggest gripe at the Ricoh, although through choice was evening games walking...

Opening day of the season memories

1987 opening game against Spurs at Highfield Road, having beaten them a few months earlier at Wembley did it again with new signing Speedie scoring a cracker. 1990 away at Old Trafford - boiling hot day packed into the away terrace at old Trafford, fan next to me had the worst BO (body odour)...
