Agreed. We definitely don't look knackered. Fitness levels have definitely improved on last year. As has squad size and rotation. It's just not clicked. Frank needs to sort the defence. I would go with MVE, Thomas, Kitching, Binks. 433, Dovin in goal.

Our forwards are quick, it would suit us to play quick counter attacks.

Am hoping Lampard plays a little more direct and encourages quick counter attacks. We were really good at that the play off season. He encouraged Chelsea to play that way. Are problems and poor form coincided with Robins trying to play more possession based football.

Bink and Bidwell are interchangeable, agreed. Bidwell is solid.

I think Lampard will be good. Right man at the right time for him and us. Doug will back him and he is tatically aware (something we have been lacking) and the players will be motivated. Especially if he brings in Jody Morris

Haaland looked awesome in the first half and got on the end of some difficult chances. He was unlucky not to get three in the first half. Fine margins as ever.
