    The Phone In

Another gem from RFC - owners are a side issue, try telling that to Man City & Chelski fans. Don't agree with NOPM but understand his frustration as they have been awful owners which has directly input on what we have had to suffer on the pitch during the last few seasons. Super Sixfield Fans...

Kids kits availability delayed until next week

No that was Sixfields which you fully supported.

Kids kits availability delayed until next week

SISU are planning to send over the now unused barrow that they had in the Arena shopping centre that was supposed to replace the club shop at the Ricoh to transport the toddler replica kits from the stranded drivers at Calais who have been stuck at the port for over 6 weeks. Steve Waggot...

Kids kits availability delayed until next week

Irrespective of whether the club outsourced their retail operation or not, there are not 6 week delays at Calais and the club is losing money if we can't sell merchandise to willing customers. I recognise the trend on this board is to dampen down any criticism of the running of this club but...

Kids kits availability delayed until next week

I'm sorry but that's incompetence again, the club is improving but should have had that stock in 6 weeks ago. There aren't 6 week delays with the tunnel.

    Tomorrow

My 18 year old son wanted to go with a few mates but I talked him out of it. When I was his age in the 80s there was frequent trouble so I was better prepared IMO to spot it and try to avoid it. Today football is a much safer however I'd still be wary of Millwall, Cardiff, Portsmouth & Leeds away.

    Nathan Oduwa to sign?

Tony Mowbray has developed an ongoing relationship with Tottenham Hotspur which he hopes will see the Sky Blues tap into a number of the Premier League club’s brightest young talents. Spurs, of course, are one of the clubs who have been closely monitoring Academy star James Maddison’s progress...

Surely Time to Bury the Hatchet

I personally don't think there many in the NOPM camp, northampton lead to a loss of regular fans but most will return if there is a good promotion charge. I think most fans are intelligent enough to distinguish between SISU and the club but not realistic to "bury the hatchett" - home games are...

    Waggot

Its difficult for a fan like me to accept their current financial prudence when 2 years ago they committed commercial suicide with the totally unnecessary move to Northampton. The transfer fees from Leon Callum & Cyrus could have been partially reinvested to see quality players on the park...

    Waggot

It was announced on the 21 Aug 2014 - that's still summer even in coventry, would have been weeks of negotiation prior to that, the Ricoh return was a no brainer for the club,

    Waggot

Last summer we knew we were returning to the Ricoh, we had suffered huge crowd losses at Northampton, we had a revolving door of short term really poor players, we had cash from Leon & Callum sales - we could have invested some of it on the pitch we chose to continue with the short term crap...

    Less like our home everyday....

No I think what the council did was a disgrace but they are elected local politicians and have avoided the embarrassment of a potential white elephant stadium by selling to WASPS, however in doing so IMO have fooked the club, but at no political cost to themselves, CCFC are back in Cov, the...

    Less like our home everyday....

For those in the "its all CCC's fault" but don't discuss the disaster that SISU have been camp, I hope when you are sitting in your black and yellow seats at the Ricoh in a few years time with crowds of 4,000 continuing to watch poor lower league football that you get some comfort from the hope...

Money being spent in the Championship

Fully agree often had a spare ST and nobody would go. Do need a decent top 6 finish this year more than any other recent season

So... This new stadium is taking a while...

I think there are polarized opinions on here that makes a debate meaningless as posters revert to their entrenched positions. My worst experience as a Cov fan (relegations, Sutton Utd) was being around the Ricoh (didn't watch the game) for WAPS v Leicester seeing our stadium full of fans from...

    Shane Lowry

Martin is shocking. In a way I like the way he is building a defensively sound team, should prevent games like oldham away last season but still seem lacking in attacking options.

    Villa after 'Cov Kid'

Not all of the fee but a reasonable fraction would have allowed us to buy a striker in form and not get the dross we got last season. We would own the player and possible would have had a better season.
