OK all hail Connor the new mesiah, although it has no bearing on yesterday's performance but was dropped to the bench for the Oldham game I would indicate that there was a judgeement by SP that he hasn't been great

Don't remember a good pass unfortunately do remember the pass straight into touch we're not expecting champagne Fleck style passes but accurate short passing keeping the ball moving.

Otis I understand the role of the holding midfielder and what he contributes to the team but most of the performances from Connor that I've seen he has been poor, only saying as I see it, his passing to the opposition being he worst attribute, Liverpool must have seen something to take him up...

Connor is 21 this week, over 100 appearances for Cov now, thought overall he was poor yesterday. Not sure what he offers, 1 goal doesn't look like he is looking to score, never really shoots, his passing was poor 1st half as were many, doesn't run with the ball and his tackling isn't the best...

once the euphoria has died down we need to addess the keeper position, that second was a howler of the highest order. JOB & Willis were awful first half but redeemed themselves in the second half. Connor did get better second half but it was difficult to play worse.

Why, in my humble opinion, SP is not the man to take this club forward.

We all want SP to succeed, he has a refreshing manner, he is young, he seems determined with a vision but at the moment he seems lost based on the squad we think he has assembled but don't know how much Waggott has been involved.

Why, in my humble opinion, SP is not the man to take this club forward.

Agree with a lot of that CCFC Mustang - can't talk about football philosophy and changing to the Coventry way when there is so much turmoil off the pitch and so many short term loans and 1 year contracts- developing youth - Chuba & Petraso - whilst he talks a good game we are drifting towards...

    Which players who...

Thought Kyle was awful - would walk into our side now The hughes doyle central midfield partnership was alaways critical would love to have them back Misfud playing wide would be welcomed back with open arms Would even consider Trevor Benjamin But no room for Wayne Turner, Greg Downes or...

    Career Damage......

We will never know how bad the constraints are that SP is working under and how much Waggott has influence over sigings but from my observationsbility Chaotic team building second half of last season - revolving door of players no stability for 2014/15 season Not physical enough we are clearly...

    Recruitment has been shocking

See my posts on our midfielders and strikers and how few goals they have scored over the last 3 seasons, we had a team last season which couldn't defend but could score, now we can't score either.

    The fans are an embarrassment

There are 60 league teams higher than us, most of those teams won't have had a manager in place for as long as SP has been here at Cov. If you think we are heading in the right direction or that SP has the ability to change this then lets stick with him but he has assembled a squad they don't...

The strikers brought in since the summer

Another classic quote from RFC defending his beloved SISU - the point is we sold an in form striker in Wilson and replaced with the above 5 who haven't been in any scoring form in the last 3 seasons, you reap what you sew

    Goals from midfield

In the last 3 seasons Fleck - 4 Connor- 0 JOB - 7 swanson - 8 barton - 5 coulibaly 0 daniels 3 So with forwards that rarely score we also have midfielders that don't score either

The strikers brought in since the summer

Shaun Miller 21 goals in the last 3 seasons - average of 7 Marcus Tudgay 11 goals in the last 3 seasons - average just below 4 josh McQ 8 goals - in the last 3 seasons - average just under 3 Simeon jackson 10 goals in the last 3 seasons - average just over 3 Frank Nouble 11 goals in the last 3...

My thoughts on what CCFC should do (but won't)...

We had some young players but there was also a lot of experience out there.
