Completely agree with this, I hold the same hope. I think it's one of the better things to come out of social media. Younger people (on the whole) are less reliant on the mainstream media for news and information, which has been reinforcing prejudices for donkey's years.

Couldn't agree more. I'm living abroad these days so you'd think I'd start to lose touch a little, but actually I've never been more hooked. It really does feel like the Dublin, Hucks era again. If it carries on like this for much longer I might have to move home, FOMO is real.

On a similar note, I enjoy listening to the usually bonkers post-match phone in on CWR through the BBC Sounds app. Tried to listen yesterday and it now says it's only available in the UK. Has something changed? Anyone else living abroad notice this, or know a work around?
