That’s exactly what I thought. He didn’t do anything wrong other than the ‘miss’. Did a nice flick for Bassette, held it up and passed off nicely, won a clever freekick, tracked back well etc. I’ve criticised him before but not today! I’m sure he’ll be pleased to hear.

Well…I think it’s fair to say that was a game of 2 halves. I can see BTA getting some shit, presumably for the ‘miss’. I’d have to see it again. My initial thought was that it was just too high for him. In which case what you gonna do? Other than that I thought he actually looked quite good...
