    Rudoni …?

He was also impressive under Robins and before he joined us.

    Viktor Moving on

The appeal of Watkins over Gyokeres for Arsenal is he is proven at Premier League Level. Portugal is a mix of good and well some poor sides. Even in European competition, the standard is varied.

    U18/U21 Development Thread

They will boost the numbers available for first team training which is useful when we have several out injured. I don't think they will go on another loan. I think Frank Lampard will want them around so he has time to assess them in the first team environment until the end of the season. Then...

    Viktor Moving on

Same as last week on the bench. He has been carrying an injury this season.

    Horner to invest?

Their net worth is pretty similar and calculated at around 40 million each. They are likely to increase their joint investments in horse racing which has been very successful for them, than invest in Coventry City FC.

    What's up with Ben Sheaf?

The problem is he has missed Hamers creativity. At the start of this season Torp wasn't up to speed. Torp has come into his own in recent weeks while Sheaf has been out injured Earlier this season we were trying to use Sheaf as the player maker and it just didn't suit him. He struggled even...

    What's up with Ben Sheaf?

He can't do it consistently enough for a playmaker. Lots of players can make good passes during a game it doesn't make them a playmaker. A playmaker really dictates the pattern of play and gets you on the front foot.. Sheaf doesn't.

That can be said of any well known person. A lot can be about, the time, the place and the approach. Also a person's expectations, do they expect a quick hello, a quick autograph or do they expect them to engage in an hour's length of boring conversation.

    What's up with Ben Sheaf?

I don't care who is in or out of the team. This is what my eyes tell me: Sheaf is a great DM who can pick a pass. When we try and play out through him as a play maker it fails. He slows our tempo down and doesn't get us forward. If anything we go backwards into our penalty area with the...

    Players cars

Stuart Pearce drove a clapped out Ford Capri when he played at Cov. If my memory serves me correctly, the gate man at the King Richard Street car park (Highfield Rd) tried to turn him away when he turned up for his first game.

    What's up with Ben Sheaf?

That may play a part. But he sometimes wants the ball when it isn't on and he isn't good at finding space to play in, say like Bannon, Hodge and Pritchard. I liked the look of Dele-Bashiru for Watford.

    Victor Torp

That is now showing through with his increased fitness. His tracking back was much better v Watford. He still isn't super quick but he can now at least more or less stay with them which keeps them under pressure. Earlier in the season he was just lagging behind if a player went past him. The...

    What's up with Ben Sheaf?

Ben Sheaf is an excellent DM. But he has missed Hamers creativity along side him. Last season and this he has suffered because we have tried to play through him from the back and it doesn't suit him. He is too slow ponderous and cautious. This season alone he has made some suicidal passes...
