The lad did not due hugely well at Birmingham and it's probably fair to say he is playing his best football in a while under Robins. Hope that counts for something to him.

I agree with that. My point was after playing well vs average opponents, why was he then flavour of the month and getting minutes further up the pitch?

What puzzles me is how he excelled vs Peterborough and Derby at LWB and then a of a sudden after impressing in a wing back role all of a sudden out of the bomb squad and playing in a position he has repeated looked off the pace in for a couple of years, attacking midfielder!

That is shockingly bad too. Sadly for some reason we seem to have a bit of a habit for signing forward players who struggle to score goals very often!!

Who identified him as a buy? Last season we were desperately short on goals so to rectify that we spent a huge chunk of the recruitment budget on a player with a 1 in 4 strike rate at Derby and the season before we signed him it was 1 in 6!! This season he is 1 in 20, the poorest conversion rate...

I think with his pace he could be a great option later in games. I can only assume his touch and link up play might be his weakest area as his pace and finishing look good. Has anyone on here honestly seen him play 90 mins for the u23 a few times and could comment on his all round ability.

Seems fair enough. Some on here want heavier sanctions than that for playing the fool with no malice.

I would agree his crossing has been poor. I also think he has been figured out by opposing managers and defenders. They show him wide and make it hard for him to cross. He needs to mix it up far more with underlapping runs and cutting inside when defenders think he is predictably going to go on...

It was over 17k vs Barnsley during a storm and off the back of a bad run of form. We are two wins on the bounce, the weather should be better and Person will bring more than the 600 Barnsley brought. Be great if we could get it up to 22k.
