I assume it was some kind of stopwatch. In another photo it had either the time or a stopwatch counter running. The cone was obviously a choice which seems somewhat clumsy considering the speculation if it wasn’t supposed to be a hint. You may well be right it just seems there are too many...

I only skimmed through but think it said half a million average sponsorship for shirts. Seems high to me. We did get ground sponsorship as would sell our own advertising boards which we would put up during our games but that was with Wasps, I don’t know the situation now. Player sponsorship...

They had a great midfield to build a team around but as you point out they’ve lost most of that talent. Brought in some solid players. Bit like us having lost Vik and possibly Hamer.

Absolutely no idea and no evidence but I would think maybe a couple of hundred grand? I’d imagine plenty in the championship are a lot less than that and in the 10s. Most aren’t huge businesses, a lot are from the area and SMEs.

Skimming through some of the older filings on Companies House it looks like back around 2013 they were turning over 5-10 million but making a loss and reading between the lines that has dropped off further.

It looks probable that there was no sponsor and Kings brother has stepped in as a favour and then the shirt release has been rushed (no photoshoot). But then we don’t know what KoS are paying, could be good money, and the squad have just been away in Portugal so it might not have been possible...

The logo is alright too. It’s a clean design and the colours are congruent with the shirt colours. There about all you can hope for.

I like it although would rather stripes on the back too. Detailing is a nice touch and we are lucky to get it. Most kits don’t have that level of detail.

They posted a cone with the word Hamer on. I mean it’s possible all the cones had names on for some drill but you can see why people would draw conclusions. There are as many rumours saying he hasn’t signed or is leaving as there are ones saying he has signed.
