Of course but the reality is there are holes to plug in the day to day running costs and I’m sure there lots of further infrastructure improvement that MR would like. Hopefully the season ticket sales go some way to covering the running costs but then we are hoping the wage budget rises to, so…

Fans tend to be awful at assessing the potential of young players as they’re not the finished article. Maddison was too lightweight, Jordan Henderson on loan was shit, many weren’t impressed by Maatsen etc.

They do exist but are rare and any at this level tend to go to a prem team pretty quickly.
