This is why, as someone said, you’ve got to take it with a pinch of salt. Everyone complains about micromanaging when they’re suddenly asked why they’ve been doing naff all. Of course their complaints could be fair but we have to keep an open mind.

Seems a bit odd when we have Palmer, COH to come back and Allen as back up, when we are more desperate in other positions. If players are lined up for those other positions then fair enough.

If that’s true then my guess is DK will know by now and will need to ensure he doesn’t end up out of pocket. That might be a good lens with which to view his actions. But it also feels a bit too much like fans wishful thinking so I’m not convinced.

It’s just something someone suggested on here which has been picked up by the press as far as I can tell. I don’t think it’s a genuine rumour as such.
