    O’Hare

If we were playing 4 in the middle then I’d be happy but my gut feeling (admittedly based on limited match time) is that he isn’t the type of midfielder for a 3. We need a playmaker (Kelly / Walsh) and two endurance runners either side. I’d rather see him buzzing about in the final 3rd and not...

    Top of the league

We could in theory be overtaken by 5 teams still (I haven’t checked their fixtures so if they’re playing each other then obviously they can’t both overtake etc) but as they say, I’d rather have the points on the board as we have

For me he has to be in the front 3. Leave the midfield 3 as they are.

    Top of the league

I expected us to be mid table this season so I’m surprised and delighted. I must be very pessimistic as we’re sitting top of the league but I still just don’t think of us as autos challengers. If we can make it into the play offs that would be a fantastic achievement

    Player ratings

We didn’t play with our usual dictating style today but most would’ve taken a draw which I think was a fair result. Marosi 8 Full backs 7 Center backs 8 Westbrooke 7 Shipley 6.5 Walsh 6.5 Hiwula 5 Jobello 5 Godden 7 O’hare 8 Kastaneer 6

You’re mental. He’s been my man of the half. I think maybe he needs to dye his hair bleach blonde or something. He’s been everywhere. Some great forward passes. Broken up play about 4-5 times and hit the post from 30 yards. Are you actually watching it? Hiwula has been quiet though, I’ll agree.

I’m a fan. He’s done an admirable job as a stand in 18 year old. He does always look knackered off the ball though

The midfield 3 have been unbelievable. Surely can’t maintain this work rate / pace... they’ve been everywhere

Is anyone else scared of losing Robins?

Genuinely is (just checked).. the next longest serving was Chris Coleman (or did it just feel like that) but he only actually did one full season from start to finish.

Greg Abbot - What a write up

“Down to the left back (Sam McCallum) who I thought was outstanding”. To be fair though, he’s only had a career in football all his life. He doesn’t know as much as the blokes that work at JLR and the like on here

    Rose, Mcfazdean, Hyam

That’s kind of the point though is that you want them to press higher up so there is space in behind. It’s risk / reward stuff but whilst the pitches are good it is higher reward than risk.

Transfer Rumour August Manager of the Month

I suppose you could argue that this is August MOTM and they weren’t top in August. Edit: just looked at their results and they were still sitting on 12 points at the end of August and unbeaten. Yeah, he’s got to feel miffed (or relieved if you believe in the curse)

He clearly means “old boy factor” as in former players usually play well against their old clubs . C’mon mate...
